@cheffy84 I havent cammed the car yet. That is this winter's project. It would have been done by now, but I rounded off 2nd and 3rd gear in the trans last spring. It now has a tick level 2 trans, monster level 3 clutch with hard lines, 3.91 gears with a kaaz LSD, billet inner stubs, and a harrop diff cover. A few weeks ago I blew a cv joint so now I have to buy g-force anti-wheelhop axles and i'm upgrading the brakes with hawk pads and DBA rotors. It will be time for the cam in a month or two
@SVT10SEC In this video I have a lingenfelter, but I do not recommend any intake that doesnt draw air from over the radiator. The only two that pull fresh air from the front of the radiator are a SVEDE and Vararam. The vararam is a good intake that is reasonably priced, but nothing is better than a SVEDE. I just put one on my car and it makes a world of difference with IAT's.
those look like aza z1's im considering them for my own 2005 torrid red 6 speed with 19k miles. i would like to know if the size you specified below (or above) is without rolling the fenders. how wide can i got on a stock 2005 without rolling.
good guess. they're actually ruff racing 278's. 18x8.5 front w/ 35mm offset and a 235/35/r18 tire. rears are 18x9.5 w/ 45mm offset and a 275/35/18 tire. i have drag bags in the springs at 15psi and i cut my fender lips myself. it's extremely easy and i recommend doing it. for the little amount of work it takes to do it, i wouldnt even consider going with a smaller tire just to not roll/cut. if this car is your daily driver, i recommend going with an 18" rim and not a 19" for more sidewall
im not crazy over the "new" gtos but this one i like

Do you have a cam now on this car?
I'm getting the exact exhaust and header combo you have. The car sounds nasty!
If you have a cam, which one.. I'm going with a VRX5.

very nice car man.. great sound... rims, ehh lol.. im thinkin about buyin an 05 and the previous owner put similar 17s on it.. they gotta go..
WislaKrakow24 2 years ago
the rims were free.... dont ask dont tell lol
they get the job done though. theyre wider by 1/2" in the front and 1 1/2 in the rear so i was able to go to a wider tire

oh and i forgot to say thank you!
If you have the coin for ccw's that is the rim brand id recommend.
good luck buying the goat! theyre great cars and unbeatable bang for the buck!
