theres two gsxr 750s in 2000 , the srad and the Y the Y is the same bike as the k1 k2 and k3 , WITH VERY LITTLE CHANGES, mainly to paint, in 2000 the gsxr 750 y was voted the best sports bike by bike and ride magazenes, it vas voted a better bike than the r1 and the fireblade! and ive got one! look it up , its the best bike you can get , if you want a evryday sports bike that will do evrything , but can still outrun most of the new bikes to! good luck

A few years ago half to 3 quarters of a mile was a long stint. Today experienced riders are performing stand up wheelies for almost an endless number of miles.

hey acau79, that is where i want to be when i sell my rocket. i have just cracked ballance point wheelies on my k8 600 and i can keep it going for about 15 seconds but i'm doing it sitting down. problem is i can't see anything! just the display and a whole lot of sky, now when i try to stand up an pull them the clutch is on a tragic angle with the left wrist all bent back and my right foot ends up sitting under the brake. do you switch up your clutch angle and foot brake position?

good wheelie man, i'm not so comfortable with standups yet so i'm at a 1/4 of a mile...lol it takes practice as i see, highway wheelies is something completely diff...1st gear is usually a no go unless you can ride through the gears. i like your armor, makes you look like iron man or something lol

try to gas it up first then work your way into 2nd gear clutch poppin. get a feel for the bike and be careful. baby step and build your confidence. standing up is better in my opinion cause u can see where the front wheel is in relation to the ground.

The first time I saw this I was like "He looks so stiff up there". I have an 09 r1 and I do the standups I feel like i'm loose up there. Maybe you being so still is what makes yours so steady tho. Don't you worry about people calling in your plate and what not when you're using the highway, I got caught twice for that. The one guys right about it not being a mile. I do mine at about 90-100 mph in 2nd on my r1 and I don't say I can do a mile unless i'm hitting for atleast 45 seconds.
