@VuDu4000 I saw that show... That's not what happened. He did NOT want one wing to go into the water, he wanted to land parallel to the waves, but the wing hitting the water forced the plane to turn and break apart and take extra damadge from the force of the waves too.

The plane at this point was just coasting, they had run completely out of fuel, the pilot chose to head for this specific spot in the hopes of a safe landing

The pilot was driving, but he did NOT purposely put the wing in the water, I saw the same program.

Nor was he fighting a hijacker, he pretty much fooled the hijackers, only reason they crashed was that they ran out of fuel, he prepared the passengers and everything. A reporter did attack the hijackers, but since he was standing from doing so upon impact, he died instantly. 55 people survived this crash, most died due to drowning from inflating their lifejackets too soon.

The hijackers asked to go to Australia - when the pilot told them there wasn't enough fuel, the hijackers didn't believe them. The hijackers claimed there was a bomb (it was a bottle of alcohol covered in a blanket) and claimed there were 11 of them, and they had the crash axe
