ijits. I've been a fan of JK since buying the 1969 "Denver/Son Jon" single. I saw him in 1973 and 1975 in Newcastle (taping the latter when he was touring "Two Days in Winter"). I have all his stuff on vinyl and CD (including the elusive 1st LP on Parlophone). It's so good to see him performing again and, despite that fact that we all look so much older now, his voice sounds just the same. "Godas" was and still is one of my favourites.
The bandits live up to their name but unlike the real bandits they cant's sing! Apart from that they are an unwelcome addition to this well written song that deserves much better than this rabble joining in on it.
Fantastic - if more people knew about this video they would all love it - Jonathan was sooooo popular during 1970's in ireland - love the video thank you so much
JK is a fine Irish born singer songwriter who enjoyed a good deal of success in the early to mid 'Seventies. He can hold a crowd solo, but I like him best with semi-funk backing which you can hear on his re-released back-catalogue. His band was among the top five live acts I ever saw... and I've seen hundreds of live bands. I know they are anxious not to hog the lime-light, but the scratch 'backing group' should either perform properly or not at all.
was at this one as well, not as good as sutherland bros ,but these bandits were invited to perform by the main man,its fun not for human consumsion

Good to see him play, mind you.
