Lufthansa A340-300 walkthrough in Dallas DFW

Excellent video, hope you enjoyed your trip with Lufthansa. I'll be flying from Detroit to Frankfurt in the summer, and i was hoping they would put the A340-300 back on the route so I could try these new economy seats, but they're sticking with the A330-300 (same capacity), which means the slightly "older" seats, comfortable nontheless, and with PTV's. How was the new recaro seats by the way?

@TSBA92 Don't they have the new A380's? I will be flying out of JFK in July but not sure as too which aircraft and I am hoping for the A380. I heard the A330 is uncomfortable :/

@sexerri yeah, they've had them in service for over a year now. As far as JFK is concerned, its just a matter of booking the right flight I suppose because they send almost their entire long haul fleet there from Frankfurt. Concerning the A330, I flew one a few years ago with them and I thought it was a pretty comfortable flight in economy, its all a matter of personal preference I suppose

@MrSoogar the plane left dallas at 14:00 and landed in Frankfurt at 7:00am. flight time was about 10 hours

@SuperGasface The plane was great, there was touch screen tvs in the back of each seat with 18 movies and almost unlimited music. The service was great and the meals were excellent for economy

@MrSoogar The economy seat are excellent! they have touch screen tvs in the back of each seat with about 15 movies to choose from and the service is great too

@MrSoogar dont worry, i was only 13 when i took this video and i flew by myself. Just take a look at the airport maps before hand so you know where youre going

@SickStyle2397 we had an option between a chicken breast along with a roll and a brownie or pasta also with a roll and a brownie. A pretty good meal for economy.

@wizzair1313 no there was no outside camera on the plane that you could see from the tvs i was hoping there was something like that. And i was in the very last seat 46A i dont recomend that seat though

I like that they finally refurbished their economy cabins on the A340-300's, last time I was on one in 08 from FRA to DTW it still had the really uncomfortable and ptv-less seats

@TSBA92 the flight experiance was exeptional and in was very comfortable. Felt like a modern plane

I love the way Lufthansa decorates there cabins, it has such a sharp clean urban look to it it is another reason they are a really cool airline!!!
