I've listened to this so many times. I've showed them(Lecarla) to EVERYONE!!!! And they all said they LOVED them!!! I found them in AP one issue and it said that if you like Paramore then you'll like them. Paramore, being my favorite band and all, is amazing so I thought, "Maybe I should check Lecarla out." I did and now I LOVE them!!!

I personally think they sound different (Paramore sound way more pop-punk, whereas I find Lacarla sound a lot heavier - maybe that's just me, though) and that Lecarla actually sounds a lot better. If you're comparing them because they have female lead vocals, well that's just plain unfair - you wouldn't compare Black Sabbath to Motley Crue, you know?

@polk998 I think you will find that it is other people, (e.g. reviewers), and not the band themselves, who have compared Lecarla with Paramore. It is a misleading and unhelpful comparison because, as you say, not many listeners would say that they have much in common. Lecarla are unique.

Instrumetation blew me away. These guys really know how to compose a song. Vocals weren't bad but couldve been so much better. Felt like she was holding back, though the backing vocals during the chorus were a little more powerful I would rather see that from the lead singer. This is my first time hearing this song so I'll have to look into this band more. Thanks AP magazine!

Her volcals in this song are supposed to be calm and subdued shes giving advice in a caring manor. The biggest pipes doesn't mean leader. Thats like saying biggest sword is most skilled fighter.

This is the only song I've heard by them so I don't know if she can get more powerful or not but that's just my opinion. Absolutely fantastic band! The voices are what they are and those who like them think they are great. I can't stand Maria Callas' voice - but that is because it doesn't suit my personal taste, and many would say she was the greatest singer in history. It is getting boring seeing comments getting on the same bandwagon about vocals. If you don't like them, listen to something else.
