I've personally heard of at least one GTR with a dead transmission, putting that aside, it was also a hot topic that each time launch control is used the PCM records it, and when you take the car in for service, they can tell how many times its been used and may void the warranty if its done transmission damage.

Plus you will actually be able to use launch control without your transmission falling off of the car. Which is huge if they actually fix this little inconvienience

Interesting,
I went golfing yesterday, and I saw some kind fo GM convention goin. Anyway, there were about 20-25 camaros there including both V6-V8. When I went to tee off of the first hole I heard alot of tire squeeling and V8 growling. I have to say, the cars didnt look as great in person. The V6 looked especially week. It looked like it was riding on a set of monster truck tires. The car really needed to be lower to the ground. It didnt posess that agressive stance that the concept did

Why the JDM Accord had to be sold TSX and not badged as normal accord? Look at the size between those cars US accord is so much bigger. that is the difference between the demands for the same car around the world. Still I agree with you. it should be like this.

Who the F*CK care about GM, yes I mean GM and their driver lapping the Nurburgring in their own car. Let the independent magazines do the hotlap.
And DEREK, please don't say it beat the Audi S5. Next time, don't forget to mention that the S5's hot lap was set by a magazine whose crew doesn't MODIFY cars, driver has got limited time/resources, sometimes does hot laps in bad conditions and can't push the cars to the limit as hard as manufacturers' drivers can.

Even tho they're responsible for nearly all scummy things that have happened in the car industry in the past 100 years, I don't hate them and I don't care.
What I hate is how 3 - 4 MANUFACTURERs have been raping the Nurburgring times with their heavily modified cars. And now you get billions of people saying so the CAR A(hotlapped by its own manufacturer) beat CAR B around Nurburgring.
NO IT FUCKING DID'T. Their driver beat the poor journalist from Sport Auto or Evo mag. Shame on THEM!!
