  • Frank had the three 'c's to perfection. Class, charisma and chemistry (with his leading ladies).

Lovely song from a classic film!

  • your video has no sound. was it removed?

  • Voice like heaven/Ringing through the air/My eyes are opened/And I can only stare

  • Thank You, I know I'm sensational... Just kidding

Of course Grace Kelly is sensational, every classic Hollywood were sensational in their own way.

And To have Frankie telling you, you are sensational, it must be divine...

  • no dislikes. Problem?

  • Frank Sinatra and Grace Kelly!

The best singer of the 20th Century serenading the future Princess of Monaco!

Wow! Really, this is an historical moment!

The song's lyrics are magical, Frank's singing is typically amazing and Grace Kelly is gorgeous, classy and was the "darling" of America at the time if this great film!

  • how is that woman not all over him right now??....i'd fuck him right thurrr on the counter top.

  • @argom110 I so agree! He looks so gorgeous in this scene!!!

  • @PriincessAiisha

    So does she..

  • When Frank opens his mouth, that voice should not come out of that skinny little guy. But I'm sure glad it does. :)

  • cut that out you blue eyed rascal.

  • Lest we forget, it was Cole Porter who wrote this beautiful score.

Sinatra was a great talent. Grace Kelly, just window dressing. A beauty, but not particularly talented.

  • Lest we forget, it was Cole Porter who wrote this beautiful score.

  • Such a pimp!

  • They're both sensational! You never forget this type of talent and their body of work.Miss them both!

  • Lovely song from the 1956 "High Society". Sinatra does it justice. Wouldn't you know it was written by the great and prolific Cole Porter.

  • Alot of smouldering happening here. Its a wonder they Strange how the plot builds of the tension between these two so well, and then hands Tracy to her elderly ex-husband in the end, for no obvious reason, except she realises her fiancée is a jerk, and Frank is already spoken for.

  • @jenni4claire I sort of agree - in The Philadelphia Story there was a lot more passion between Tracy and Dexter - the characters played by Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn were quite clearly meant for each other. In this version....Grace and Bing do still have that 'something', but it's much more companionable. They're closer to being very good friends - which by definition lacks that 'spark'. In the end though I think they're a nice couple, and that bit on the boat is adorable :)

  • He's not wrong. She is sensational!

  • Love this stuff. Grace Kelly, one of the most beautiful actresses of all time, being serenaded by possibly the best singer of all time, written by one of the best song writers of all time. :} Delicious on the ears that is. I have a Frank Sinatra "Cole Porter songbook" record, and it just never gets old.

  • I believe this is the last song Cole Porter wrote. I'm so glad someone put this up.

Not many hits here; 36,000. Not many people left who remember what taste and refinement were. Not to mention guile, mystery, class, etc.

  • Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter! The best of the very best! Makes anyone fall in love with Love! This segment could have been the entire movie!Thank you for posting this Sensational and Wonderful video!!!

  • i realize something.hopefully i won't spoil anything for you folks. but i think the director made a serious mistake of making bing crosby the cary grant character in high society, and frank sinatra the jimmy stewart. the roles SHOULD HAVE BEEN REVERSED.

  • This movie is both sweet and funny.I love Frank Sinatra and Grace Kelly.

  • FRANK SINGING TO FUTURE PRINCESS GRACE KELLEY IN "HIGH SOCIETY."

This is a magical moment! The greatest singer of the 20th century romantically singing to a beautiful future Princess!

This video is sensational as were Frank and beautiful Grace! THIS IS A LOVELY MOMENT IN HISTORY! A JOY TO WATCH

  • Oh! Frank - The chemistry between you and Grace sends shivers right through me!!

    Thank you!

  • Happy Birthady Blue Eye !

  • Looking at this clip now, I think that their chemistry is priceless. It's no wonder that Grace decided to have an affair with Sinatra eventually...

I never knew his real name was Francis...

  • Oh what's a girl to do with 3 men in love with her? :)

  • is this from a movie ? if so what is it called

    ?

  • @abotatu high society

  • LOVE this movie and LOVE Sinatra...thanks for posting :)

  • cole porter freaking genius

  • Well composed instrumentals

  • "Grace Kelly's father: he cooked up a pretty sweet dish!" - Ed Norton (the character, not the actor!), on why GK's dad should be included in the list of great chefs.

  • The soundtrack makes this film. Without it, the lackluster adaptation and so-so acting would have killed High Society.

  • @NoirFemme Watch Philadelphia Story. You'll love High Society so much more after that. :-) Trust me. ;-)

  • She has such long arms *-*

  • I loved the vid clip and especially Frank singing this great song. I wish that I knew someone to sing "You're Sensational" to because I love the word sensational, brings wonderful memories to me of past times and romantic episodes in my life.

  • I can't believe I'd never heard of this remake. The Philadelphia Story is my all time favorite movie. I don't think it'll replace the first one but it sounds amazing. Must check it out!

  • @LendHerGrace You should definately check it out. It's really a great movie and I hate remakes. This is probably the only remake I like. Which is kinda strange because I'm a gigantic fan of Katharine Hepburn and The Philly Story is one of my favourite movies. The songs in High Society are amazing and Grace Kelly is breathtakingly beautiful.

  • From the 1956 movie High Society. ............really sensational!! A classic.

  • That diamond she is wearing is her REAL engagement ring from Prince Rainier of Monaco! WOWEE~!

  • her look when he starts singing again is perfect.

  • This film has just been on Channel 4 Uk starting at 13.20. Frank wooing Grace Kelly just look at it she says nothing throughout the scene. And she just steals it from "ole blue "eyes. Magic.

  • THOSE EYES AND LIPS OF HIS!!!!

He is SOOO sexy, that Frank !!

one of the sexiest men of all time!

  • Long live Sinatra!! this is my absolutely favourite scene in High Society!

  • Love THIS [:

  • Great song and formidable movie , one of the most beautiful musical ever .

  • :-)

  • Wow! I was watching Grace through this entire thing and it reminded me of a Cary Grant quote on her - "Grace Kelly acted the way...Fred Astaire danced. She made it look so easy. Some people said that Grace was just being herself. Well, that's the toughest thing to do if you're an actor."

In this clip, her reactions to Frank are so natural. Even though she's not talking, it's still fascinating to watch.

(And listen to! No compares to Frank Sinatra -maybe Bing?)

  • @emster93 Silly to compare Bing to Sinatra.

  • Grace Kelly is one lucky lady. In this movie she has Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby kissing on her and serenading her, Then in To Catch a Thief she has Cary Grant kissin on her...Then she marries a prince....*sighs*

  • Don't forget Grace. Extraordinary women like her only come along 2 or 3 times a century (Diana and Jackie O...). Topped off by Frank's incredible voice. Thanks for posting!

  • sinatra the one in only

  • i love sinatra. great song.

  • yeah!! rock 'n roll for evah!!^^
