I wish that Larry, Ted, Russ, Jim, Jules, and Terry would do one more tour together. I know it won't be the same without Brian Cole, who left us all too soon. However, with the current group, Bruce Pictor, Del's brother Larry and Brian's son Jordan are keeping the legacy alive along with the rest of the band.
A girl I was dating bought this album for me just because I said I liked it. That was in the 60's and she went to the top of the list and we are still married and in love. It is still one of our all time favorite love songs.........
My "favorite" song.......I'm so glad that I grew up in the 60's..I still have the album nearly worn out! They still sound so beautiful that it brings tears to my "heart".
Thanks the Association for the music and thanks Don and Richard for writing this beautiful song. I remember listenning to this song along with the sound of street fighting gunfire in Saigon. I knew then....there's love.
Vertnman-this song was written by two brothers-Don and Dick Addrisi. They pitched it to the Letterman, who passed on it, and the Association almost passed on it too.
This is the first song my wife and I listened to together on our first date. Yes, that was 42 years ago and we are still married. The words to this song never rang more true to me as they do today
From what i hear, this band was told to change their name and image to the 'bubble gum music' genre, after The 1910 Fruit Gum Company. That's when the Association said 'sayonara.' Great to hear them again.
never my love,é nunca mais anos 60,quem viu, viu, quem não viu, tenho pena.
