what if i download music and it goes on my computer harddrive (which i dont want) if i put it in the external hard drive can i delete it and still use it?

@godtroung do you mean like taking all of your music from your computer and putting it on your external HDD but not copying and pasting it? If thats the case then you will still be able to use it as long as the external HDD is still connected to your computer and your computer can recognize the files. If you are talking about copying and pasting it to your external HDD then you will still be able to use it either way since all the files are located in the computer HDD and the external HDD

@masterminded78 yes, all you need to do is do a 'save as' and find your external hard drive and save it to there. it will probably be under My Computer

DJXtremeo just goto radio shack and get a 300 giga byte hard drive for around 50-70$ really cheap

you want a fast one like the freeagent by seagate.

its tiny, big capacity, cheap and fast.

5400 rpm is fast for a usb hard drive.

its actually way better to have an internal hard drive because they are bigger and way faster. my brother got a 500 gigabyte hard drive for 80 bucks at best buy. its fast, quiet and it says it's enviromentally friendly.
