My home town. I lived in Lamar for 42 years (won't tell you how long I've been gone) but it's a great place to raise kids and any place you hang your heart is home. It is still in my heart and my grandchildren and many other family members are there so I go often. Thanks for the recognition. My family has lived there since my grandparents in the early 1900's God bless them.

Holy crap my sister lives in Lamar on W Olive. I used to live on N 10th across the street from the canal and I also used to live on W Beech. I never liked it there but old people seem to love it.

HA HA, have fun in lamar and all its glory and the brightlights big city atmosphere. Looks like a town you would stay drunk in. I like the Village you got there. Does it have a gate to get in and out of, with like a gatekeeper? An old man with a corncob pipe and a straw hat wearing coveralls.
