How do u make sure that the egg that hatches is shiny? Can the dad be shiny and the mum is the pokemon u wanna be shiny? E.g. I wanna shiny turtwig, so can I breed a shiny male shinx with a female toterra? If not, then how? SOMEONE PLZ ANSWER ASAP!

hey dude or...uhh girl whatever can you save before it hatches and then hatch it and if its not shiny the re-hatch it until it is shiny? i just want to know :3 cuz if it works im doin it ask someone else if you have to figure it out :3

@ubershyguy8 you cannot do it. you need a different egg after each hatch. I recommend use the desired pokemon and breed with a foreign ditto. It makes your chances of hatching one better like 1 in a 2000 chance. Easier than 1 in 8000 chance though..

Slorg165, the riolu egg is always going to hatch not shiny. Everything was set when you got the egg. Soft resetting won't change if it's shiny or not. Sorry!

Oh and the Masuda method fails. Serious, RNG abuse.

If you're pokemon are not hacked then explain why your Dratini, that has an ID No. 57493 and OT Name is Carlos while your Dragonite has an ID No. 26159 and OT Name is again Carlos. Both the OT is Carlos but they are different ID No. explain yourself lol

@Xarcifen I caught my Dragonite in Diamond, and that Dratini hatched in Platinum. My trainer is named Carlos in both Diamond and Platinum.

wow that's sick u hatched an egg in the distortion world and it came out shiny, by any chance did u already knew it was going to be shiny cause some ppl breed pokemon to have lots n lots of eggs and would have them in the pc of the game then try to hatch everyone of them to see if one of them is shiny. yup, well I'm gonna RNG a shiny charmander, because I hatched over 2,000 masuda eggs and haven't gotten 1. i think thats ridiculous, as everyone else gets theres at like 500 and I'm here hatching all day for 2 weeks in a row. I'm done. I think it's fair for me to RNG right now, at least for 2 shinies.
