  • Wow it seems u have alot of money into that looks good man

  • Skimmers are working wonderful

  • Yes they are

  • Are the koralia working good on the wavemaker ?

  • Nice! How's those skimmers working 4 u?

  • that is a great tank...but honestly....you have way to much un necessary stuff. I would hate to see your light bill lol because seems like you are running double of everything

  • How much were the lights for 2 of them and the sump light with chiller??

  • Great setup buddy

  • nice tank! you have seen to done everything right except one small thing. you are loosing pars using the glass tops and trapping heat. I would suggest you research this and you'll find your corals happier with the glass tops off. I know you have a chiller but it probably running and using power where you can avoid dissipate more heat from the tank caused by the lights with the tops off. The benifits are endless in a open top system when using MH and T5 lighting system.

  • verry nice set up my friend

  • where do you place your koralia's....mine keep blowing sand

  • thats a ridiculous amount of money for what your keeping. a few NON stoney corals and you have all that . with what you have you could have spent about a 1/4 of what you did and be just as well off. im gonna have to say this is a case of too much money and not enough knowledge

  • Nice looking tank and good equipment. I would recomend if your going to go corals ditch the glass top. You should ditch the glass tom either way.

  • nice tank but all that high tech stuff not much coral in tank

  • @macdaddy1600 i have moved most of the coral to other tanks, will be restocking soon

  • nice set up

  • nice tank...ooo ooo u got your tank next to a window... u spent alot of money...really niceeee

  • @cod0mw2 thank you

  • why do you have both a kalk and calcium reactor ?

  • @funkmaster100 kalk reactor keeps ph up :) calcium reactor keeps calcium up :) they work together on dosing pumps, my ph stays at 8.4 and my calcium stays at 450....................

  • @funkmaster100 i also installed a geo 612 2 days ago any tips is greatly appreciated

  • @funkmaster100 WELL I use a ph controller on mine , i think its a must have item, make small changes to your bubble counter till you get it dailed in good, I use tropic eden in my calcium reactor, it needs a ph of 6.5 to disolve,

I drip my calcium reactor into an open chamber in my sump, that has two air stones in it, so I can get rid of the extra CO2, so it wont mess with my PH, but all I can say is make small changes to the setup, till you get it just right :)

  • thats like $15000 holy shit you love your fish!

  • so cool good work man.

  • @matt61234666 thank you

  • Love it, more vids!

  • Very nice tank. I have a 185 myself and I have the whole build on you tube. I am going skimmerless and using Miracle Mud. I want a battery back up can you tell me where or what model # it is from Dell. Also how about the L x W of the batter back up?

  • @taedom cyberpower 1500 ups

  • due thats awesome you should get more corals as well

  • @ReefAdvicer been moving them to other tanks, but im going to stock it back up soon

  • Let's get high dude.

  • awsome tank, i have a FW right now so its not as hard to maintain. im thinking of getting a SW but ive never understood the complexity of what you just showed in ur vid. with all the plumming and CO2, calcium, reactors etc. nice tank though, very jealous.

  • yo i got a question about metal halides. i have a light fixture that holds 2 65 watt power compact flourecnents and i have a 150 watt metal halide and the flourecents shine like 2 or maybe 3 times brighter then the metal halide even though the halide is more wattage. should i keep the metal halide on or the flourecents on with my 216 watt t-5 light. i dont know because the power compact bulbs are brighter but the halide has more wattage so what whould be better for the corals. thanks

  • @electronkid710 well it really, depends on the corals you are keeping.

metal halide will penatrait the water better.

  • this is amazing

  • @The1Reef

thank you :) it was alot of hard work

  • What is the purpose of the kalkwasser reactor when your already running a calcium reactor?

  • @jayboogy510

i use the kalkwasser reactor for top off water, and the calcium reactor is on a dosing pump with a calcium controller.

  • excellent!!

    congrats!!

    =)

  • @cowboymty

    :) thank you

  • That is a nice set up , I have a ? for U & it is Im looking 2 get a battery back up tour & I was woundering where U got ur's from & how much.......... Also how well does it work ????????????????????

  • @highdef4life

I ordered my battery backup system from dell, its a cyberpower unit

I have two of them now :) and I just added a gas powered larger unit for longer run times :)

  • Scott your right about the equipment. You need to keep the water quality pristine and by having these extra features, reactors, etc you can achieve this. Since then I upgraded my equipment and running carbon/GFO/Cal reactor. Definitely helps out with stability! Good job with the tank. Any updated vids?

  • excuse me for my noobness but do you need a sump and all that equipment for a reef tank? Is it possible just to have a external filter, heater and skimmer?

  • wow ur a madman, how much do u think this cost?

  • @ryjack26

well i sold a show car and built this tank. but as far as total money i cant say, i'm afraid my wife might read this :) I will say I have 1500 in the live rock and live sand :)

  • yellow tank and hippo tang not fighting?

  • @SatoTM2 i have a yellow tang and a hippo and they don't fight at all

  • @funkmaster100

mine are getting along better now.

  • sweet set up

  • @jkennedy1007 thanks

  • how much did the tank and stand cost cause im thinkin about going with a 125 but a 180 would be even better

  • @liv4daoutdoors tank= 475.00 stand= 250.00

  • @scott180reef dude ur tank is so cheap you only got your tank for 475.. here in Canada the cheapest one i can find is 600 for a 182 galoon and it's for sale...

  • @crankyboiy

    :) hehe

  • great set up, that rock on the top is really well positioned like it alot!!!!!

  • @zolob315 thanks

  • The majority of ur equipment is completely unnecessary. Quit wasting money on equipment n buy more fish n corals!! Do some research too!!

  • @TheOneAndOnlyProdigy hes fine on equipment, and he can do watever he wants with his money so stop telling him how to spend it

  • @zolob315 thanks :)

  • @TheOneAndOnlyProdigy , well TheOneAndOnlyProdigy maybe you should ask for more Info, before sticking your foot in your mouth :) this tank was all hard corals and clams and just a few softies a few years ago. but now I moved all that stuff to another tank. and all this equipment is to make sure i take the best care of these wonderful animals. so TheOneAndOnlyProdigy you run your reef your way and I will run my reef my way :)

  • nice job on what looks like the ritteri anemone, looks amazing

  • Alot of decent equipment there. Im curoius as to why such an ellaborate setup for such mediocre corals? With that rig you could be growing some really nice items other than softies and LPS. Good work and thanks for sharing the video.

  • @ballageddon I had alot of hard corals and clams in this tank a few years ago, but now i have moved them to another tank. :)

  • how much did your sump set-up cost and specifically those protein skimmers? =] one day i wish to have a sump set-up similar to yours!

  • Nice Job!!!

  • @jverna1 thanks

  • I love your tank and sump set up. I am just wondering with a 125g sump I would think that your chiller dosn't come on that much, right or wrong?

  • well the chiller comes on about twice a day :)

    scott
