  • am i the only one on here trying to understand what hes saying when i dont speak germanL

  • way overpriced. it still sounds fake to me. they are almost there but not quite yet. a real piano still sounds better

  • @PhuckHue2 well i played piano for 30 years, iv try every digital piano out there, and this one is really in a league on is own, the modelling thing is the furtur, as for sounding fake i dont know what you are comparing this to , but i can bet you that you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between a real piano recording and one of the v-piano for sure, i cant and im a sound engeneer, iv put this test to 10 collegue so far and none of them could identifie the v-roland, mix with 9 reall piano

  • my point is if nobody can tell the difference anymore, sonicly in recording, it all come down to playabiity, wich is where modeling shine vs sample base, and seriously this day as come my friend,

  • All real pianos are fake... This is the only real piano on the planet!!!

  • i used this piano and its very dissapointing... it does NOT worth the money

  • I wish I knew German! There are several piano reviews from MusikSchimdt online... and the only part I'm able to enjoy is the piano playing. lol Sweet piano sound!

  • A $6000 piece of shit which will be on clearance and closeout sales

all across the nation soon....A $1000 Yamaha or Kurzweil is a better

    deal.

notice most people disable comments on this piano cause its shit.

    I played one Saturday.....(about 30 seconds)

I laughed at it and jumped back on a yamaha cp33

  • pianoteq is so biliger :)

  • The quality has prize...

  • It's funny how people think that living in a different country makes you a different species....this guy talking looks exactly like that man that lives across the street from me only he isn't German. I love the piano btw!

  • @aarfeld -

what is a professional at all?

many britpopper teenie band goes on tour with a 5m long grand piano, so why should this piano-clone be only for the "professionals"?

  • Finally! Roland has put real double escapement action on a digital piano unlike Rolands old Rd-1000 witch used

a wooden key with just a lead weight drilled in it

  • ouch $6k BIG OUCH!

  • @Gradius0: It's an instrument for real professionals. If you're just gigging around your town or something you'd do better with a less expensive sampling piano--not a modeling piano as this one is.

  • I know all that, but it should be $4K (IMHO).

  • @Gradius0 i wouldnt pay $2k if they gave free monitors with it

    Danke!

  • please ressdard your saundsämpelz

  • roland is very very expensive... GEM Real Piano is serious competitor... similar tech an more cheap... please Check Promega 2, 3 or RX-P module from Generalmusic, Piano Sound is really fantastic.!

^^ lg

  • I recently had the chance to play this. First let me say that I have been playing the piano for 21 years. I DON'T LIKE KEYBOARDS. I have played a lot of great pianos. Everything from Yamaha to Baldwin, Kawai and the holy grail: Steinway Model D; and I have to admit I really like the V-Piano. The way the keys feel is amazing, you can adjust the sound in so many ways that you're bound to find a sound you like. It's pretty interesting also because there is no velocity switching in this keyboard.

  • I wanna Know if V PIANO needs be connected to external speakers to sound or if It has Build in Speakers.

    Thnx

  • @helmusico this v-piano needs speakers

  • Call me old, but my favorite Roland products are only two: the D-50, and the RD-1000. Nothing comes close to Elton John banging on the RD-1000. Good old days and good old sounds, and good playing from Elton, too, But, the V-Piano at least looks better than the RD-700, So, I think it's a move in a good direction. I mean, I ain't spending this much cash on something that looks ugly, and to my taste, the RD-700 looks ugly. RD-1000 was simply gorgeous. V-Piano is not bad. Close to RD-1000.

  • Yes, you are old and silly.

  • one word...EPIC

  • Just a nit, but the RD1000s/MKS-20 didn't use samples *either*! :) They used Structured/Adaptive Synthesis. I know what you mean though - you want the V-Piano to be able to make the same sound, and that's ok. :) I never liked the SAS sounds much personally. (I had the RD300s, a cut down version of the RD1000s)

  • i played it a few weeks ago, and though just WOW!! it just blows me away. The sound is so clear and real.

    Nice video! 5*****

  • Did you by chance see the price tag on it? Ide like to know.....

  • it costs 5.399,00 Euro. In dollar something about 7.670,00 $.

  • that doesn't include the speakers you need, or a laptop to run the software etc...

  • What do you mean, a laptop? Are you saying that there is a software version of this?

  • very nice keyboard but if you guys need your keyboards to start selling more around the world, then you guys need to put the same piano sample from the roland rd1000s or roland mks-20 in these nowadays keyboards

  • Well, the V-piano does sell all around the world. And they won´t put those samples in, because the piano ain´t sample-based, but digitally modeled!:)

  • ok then, can roland put the same piano sample as rd1000s in a expandsion board so it can be use in the phantom & other roland keyboards?

  • yes, that would have been cool

  • why are you posting this same crap on every Vpiano video!!!
