Misfits - Hellfest 2009 - Intro + Halloween

I always had and still have respect for the Misfits. But it is time to hang it up. Over the years the band has slowly lost what the Misfits were. Jerry Only is a great guy and loves his fans. He doesn't have the ego that Danzig has. But, its just not the Misfits anymore. This is my opinion. If fans still like this lineup, then that's great. Like I said I will always hold respect for the Misfits, but to me, this is NOT the Misfits.

The problem isnt Jerry's singing....its the shitty audio of these recordings... Also, Jerry's voice is flooded with the sounds of instruments and sining audience.

Jerry butchers songs like, his singing isn't that great and the band plays the songs so fast you can barely tell what is what... but the fact is Jerry cares about the fans, he stayed after a show I was at to sign stuff for the fans. Most rockstars don't give a shit and would never do that.

@nerrad127 Yes, but only SOME of the songs. And you can really blame him for using the songs. Did anyone get mad at The Ramones for stealing Dee Dee's solo songs "Making Monsters for my Friends" or "The Crusher" on Adios Amigos.? No, no one got upset. And why? Because Dee Dee's first and 2nd solo albums went largely unnoticed in the mainstream. As did the songs from ThE Misfits new cd "Devils Rain". Re-recording songs that were rejected from Famous monsters are fine by me. I CANT WAIT!
