I will tell you how's the blame. Society and people slowly getting away from what the bible teaches. The bible teaches sex within a marriage or union. Sex is part of a bigger equation. What people want to do now is remove sex from that bigger equation and not deal with the responsibility that comes with it. Then when a woman get pregnant she aborts or raises the child alone simply because she didn't want to examine the man further.

Both parties are to blame, but I do not think the blame can be evenly distributed. First the parties should be married before kids are even discussed.
