Curls do NOT stay in my hair:( no matter what i do, I just cant get them to stay. I've used the curling shampoo and all types of hairspray and they just fade out within minutes after i put the first curl in, even using over night curlers dont help..suggestions?

@AshleesCOTL sometimes your hais is covered by silicone wwhich function like a plastic wrap and it is too heavy and pulls your curls down. If you use shampoo with silicone, you might want to change that and use a peeling shampoo a ocuple of times to get the cilisione out. If you already do that, I have no idea >.<

Good tips but you should put a disclaimer here that if you have really thick hair, the 6-section idea doesn't work. Just followed all the instructions and got gimpy waves in the end. Wound up doing 12 sections instead.

im a hair stylist & wanted 2 say THANK U this technique defiantly delivers results i tried it yesterday and 2x today and boy does it work great !!! and is so fast & easy. i found if your hair is a really really thick and long divide the back sections horizontally in to two sub sections!
