@JankyToe i thougt the original rasengan is not a special elemental type of jutsu - just the manipulation of chakra flow without adding a special element type. The Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken is the WIND Type AND complete form of the rasengan (but maybe there could be other elemental forms of the rasengan which no ninja yet mastered^^)

Just one thing- If this was supposed to be like two ninja wandering around during war and they happen to cross paths, aren't they both wearing Konohagakure hitai-ates?
