The Seagull Decathon fly's great!! Not exacty my favorite plane - but fly's smooth. After I have toed in the main wheels the plane takes off nice and straight. And yes, all I fly is 4 stroke engines. Love the sound!! Love the fuel economy!!
I'm sure you now have learned about right thrust, and to compensate it by giving some rudder to keep you straight... I remwmber my first nitro plane and akmost smacking a tree on take off because of the right thrust pull... Aren't 4 strokes great?!!!!!! TONS OF TORQUE

I now taxi with up elevator. helped some. I had the main wheels pointed out. I turned them in and now all is well.

Hi buddy,
Look at your elevator when you were taxing. It was at neutral position!
You cannot taxing and taking off any taildragger like you did.
