@chrupekstar yeah you are right o_o, that is my list lol, but im not really sure how I feel with Brave at number 1, I would switch Brave with Script maybe, cause actually I really do love script, and it is one of the most important albums in prog history.
@Razzics get the double cd of Marbles if you can. Amazing work, but each of their CDs is wonderful in it's own right. Go to their website and have a look around, great site to explore.
@Razzics For older Marillion try Misplaced Childhood. Probably the album from the Fish era that is the most straightforward since older Marillion are different from what they do today. You can get a used copy at ebay for some pennies. Also get Brave, for me at least the best Marillion album.
@Razzics Definitely Misplaced Childhood for the Fish-era, and I would recommend "Marbles" (the double album) as well. "Brave" is also a masterpiece, but takes some more getting used to.
Welcome to the family! All the best freaks are here!!
Please stop these stupid discussions, listen to this beautiful song as it is meant to be!!! There's already enough hatred in this world, so let's not start unuseful discussions!!
@LexL94 It's all a matter of opinion. In MY opinion, Marbles is Marrilion's best album; Neverland and Fantastic Place are just breath-taking. That's not to say that Fish's stuff were good with Marillion. Script for a Jester's Tear is good as a story, but for sheer emotion Marbles comes out on top. You may think differently and I respect that. Perhaps listen to it again. The beauty is there to be found.
@Historian66669 I get where your coming from, but I liked the fantasy element to Marillion and I think that kind of childhood atmosphere was lost when Fish left. Your right though, they still sound very good, I just prefered their old sound as all.
You cant mention Porcupine in the same breath as Marillion.......Marillion are far better...

This is pure genius....I agree with PositiveLast Action......Fish is brilliant on his own...but Marillion have moved on

Marbles. Most complete album. Masterpiece !

Anyone who still thinks that Fish should have continued with or rejoined Marillion...here is the damning evidence otherwise.
