I've never been on a date. All i know is my last girlfriend was psycho... A few times I've gone to dinner w/ a friend which I have a major thing for. I don't think that counts, though.

Good rule: Be clear whether a date is actually a date. :)

well, idk under which category it goes, but i went on a date with this guy. Everything went great, he opened the door, paid my way, walked me to the door, a real gentleman. He even sent me a text saying that he had a great time and wanted to go on a second date. He was my neighbor. I say was cuz after that he never spoke to me again and moved away. O.O I am not kidding. Okay, my worst first date? I was meeting my girlfriends' friends and we were going to the movies. I was there waiting for them, they passed right by me, bought their tickets, and went inside. Anyway, I got my ticket and went in, and they ignored me the entire time, including my girlfriend.

My idea of the best first date is that we're both having fun and there aren't any awkward moments and the whole thing goes like a date instead of an outing with a friend, and we both feel comfortable being around each other, not like she's waiting for her dad to pick her up so

What I like in girls is:
