What a fabulous piece of music. Bonnie sings it like it is. Great, kick ass, take no crap lyrics. "I need a man t o love me, not some fool to ask me why." Yes! You say it girl! Awesome blues. She just grabs you.

"I need a man to hold me, and not a fool to ask me why." Chris Smither deserves some sort of lifetime achievement award for this line. This live version is great (thank you, Uploader!) -- the one on the original release, Give It Up, is superb.

i saw this late night yesterday on bbc4 and i was well smashed on booze, it took me all day to find out who she was and this is absolutely outstanding, ive played blues guitar since i was 16 and cant play no where near as good now im 30 and she is incredible!! regards The wittle man.
