Cause the writers forgot what it was supposed to be, some of them just avoided him to use it, and some thought it was an audio amplifier. He never used it once as a machinegun, but once as an amp. Think it is a combo of both

Well he did use on the Key to Vector Sigma when those drone robots were attacking. It just acted like a big gun...honestly I was hoping it was a sound concussion cannon. Something really deadly for emergencies. Perhaps we'll get a treat in the 2009 movie and figure out what it's for?

I can imagine that would have taken a fair amount of work to put all those clips together. What an awesome decepticon. I hope he is in the next TF movie. The part with Galvatron in the end sounds like a translated version of HM. I kinda like how he sounds when he grieves in the Japanese version. More emotion. Nonetheless 5 Stars!
