It's ridiculous the image potrayed of Africa, I been there they've the fancy clubs it's beautiful, they have skyscrapers too the areas with animals are tourists resorts. I mean it's a lovely place they got big ass houses. I hear the poor countries there are Mozambique, Zambia, Ethiopia and Somalia but everywhe else is fine.

@ryanj252 let me turn on the light, I know all the countries in Africa I was born in Zimbabwe and stay there. I watch CNN all the time and whenever they show any country in Africa they show the worst parts of that country, why I will never know. That's why your minds are in a box and you think evry other place is ugly, I travel all the time to America, UK. I was disappointd wn I came to New York, Manhattan not as hyped. I'll ask you have you been to Africa or any country in Africa?

@classytmc when you say you've been to Africa do you realise that it is a continent? There may be lovely places, you don't say where exactly but there is also a big rich and poor divide in many African countries. There are 1.4 billion people living in poverty in Africa. In South Africa (the country referred to in this clip) there is a very negative legacy from apartheid and there is a big problem with social exclusion and poverty. Educate yourself, stop talking in generalisations.

Many people are giving money so the children will have good shoes to walk in, myself included. I worry that donations will end up in the wrong hands. All we read about is the corruption in African governments. Where would Mr. Butler suggest the philanthropic donate their money?
