I played in single player mode... my mom got it for her... I really enjoyed it even in single player mode... The only thing i hated was trying to find all the star coins in a level... cause when i missed even one it was a whole rant about well where in the hell could that fuckin last coin be... I understand its supposed to be a challenge but it should still be visible lol... that or im just a friggin rertard lol.. I gave it 5 stars on my rating scale.

I pretty much agree with everything said in this video. I have been a Mario fan for along time and this didn't disappoint. This is a game best played multi-player. It is challenging enough for adults to play without getting really bored but easy enough that my 7 year old niece can play it.

BTW, it is really fun to throw other people off of cliffs and into the lava in Battle Mode.

This game was hard but it wasn't quit playing forever hard. The gameplay does stutter a bit when u get hurt, but you actually get used to it. It is fun to play with other people at the same time but i would say if you actually want to get through the game without too much difficulty either go solo or have one friend help you.

The stutter when someone dies can DEFinitely mess you up, no doubt, but I haven't had this much fun in a multiplayer game since...ever! Four players is hilarious chaos, more because of the douche players than the game itself. You just can't help but enjoy throwing your kid brother into a fire pit, or hurling a koopa shell at the back of your buddy's head. Pressing the big "A" button is a much-needed skill, as going into a bubble is always much better than dying, or slowing down the group

i got this game for Christmas and HOLY SHIT! it's amazing! i would have to say though that my friends and i eventually got into a war during story mode trying to see how fast we could kill each other during the levels... not very fun when someone picks you up and chucks you at the giant blowfish.

This game is really fun ^^, as a lesser Hardcore gamer, I don't mind playing with rookies, as long as they are independent, though it's ALOT better than playing alone ^^.

By the way, the Negative that they stated is insignificant(short freeze when someone dies), what is worse is when someone stands in your way, and ends up messing your jump or anything similar, I don't mind the jump on the head thing, it is actually a good thing.

I dont own the game but my cousin borrowed it and me, my fiance and two of the cousins played and got through the levels fairly quickly. There was lots of shouting, some cursing and much punching, but it was an absolute blast. My favorite part was when three of us on yoshis tried to swallow the one without a yoshi....we looked like hungry animals goin for that bubble. Good times :P
