Wild Arms one of the best RPGs in a sea of stiff competition - this one should have been higher, I remember the rush of fighting him when I thought it was over... and how happy I was that they made him the final instead of Mother...
Yes, it was. After defeating Motherfried, you take the Dimensional Elevator back to Ka Dingel, but on your way down Zeikfried comes back to fight you one last time as Zeik Tuvai, and this theme plays in the battle
I agree. I have a 100 boss theme list myself and this is my 51st favorite boss song with a rating of 8.25. (By the way, just for the heck of it I put in Non-RPG boss music in there. I thought some good Non-RPG boss music deserved some credit too, like Bowser music in Super Mario 64.)
Zeikfried and Seigfried are one and the same. His appearance in WA3 was to spark a bit of nostalgia with long time fans. The spear that Janus uses before Seigfried's arrival (as well as his Negative Rainbow attack) originally belonged to Zeikfried as well.
Wild Arms 3 was a good title, but I did prefer the more simplistic Wild Arms storyline. Three brought more complex characters but I could not follow most of the science fiction babble.
Wow! What a surprise! I love this OST. It is one of the best I've ever heard. BTW I rather like the funeral, intro and flying songs, but this piece is a great battle theme!
This tune is definitely a good example of short and repetitive, but effective and catchy. So yeah now that all 100, I'm going through them for the heck of it, but probably won't comment on most. Due to being lazy.
the zed theme is awesome, too. and one of the boomerangs; either i think it was flash boomerang. he had an excellent theme when you fight him in the arena.
Honestly I think Zed's theme is one of the best ever, it's just so damn catchy. It's years since I played the game and I still get it caught in my head at times
why does everyone think it sounds like chocolate rain!? i dont see why...

this is actually pretty good, but to me I don't think #96 counts it. I'd say 70ish or 60ish

only #96... well it can't be helped. But I love remembering this battle.

I've only played Wild ARMs 3. Now I realise that Seigfried was based off of this guy, I guess. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've never had the pleasure of playing Wild Arms. Perhaps I should go look for a copy.

Zeik Tuvai! This one is very memorable. I still don't understand how TheTrendSetter's list was completely devoid of any Wild Arms battle themes.

Sounds similiar to Final Fantasy 10, although i don't know why.

I probably wouldn't have recognized it if you hadn't said it, but yeah there are a few parts that sounds a bit like the Seymour battle.
