I agree with this. I am white and most white parents I see SUCK as being parents. I was raised in 3 Blk communities, all of which were 88% -95% Black. I totally agree with paying the youth for good grades...why not?
Most of these babies, are born to single parents, and could really use that money to help out...I know I come from a lower middle class family, and was an honorable student, I would of loved to get paid for my good grades..whats the diff. between that and giving a child an allowance, for good grades?
Still getting paid to learn.

Becuase, we dont really care for our people ..the youth are an I want it now, and I want it for my self, and no one looks out for eachother..

A man is born to have Pride, and to be the strength of his family, and when u take that away from him,and ur women, children have to see u as a second class MAN,for over 400 plus yrs,and still to this day getting oppresed and dicriminated on,even when trying to do good..

People want to know why a black man with a college degree and no criminal background may not be hired before a white man with a GED and a criminal background? The answer is simple. Many white people look after their own. If there is a choice between hiring a white and a black, they are going to choose the white because they want to keep the wealth, the dollars in their community. It is only racist to us black folks because we have been taught to love and enrich everyone before ourselves.

CNN's documentary "Black in America" was a damn joke. They picked Roland Fryer, that Uncle Tom Economist fuck who at one time suggested that black children may be genetically inferior to white kids. To even suggest that black kids need to be paid to learn is insulting to the intelligence of black children. Fuck some money! You learn because you are doing yourself a favor by investing in your own knowledge. CNN should have never aired that program.

Just because some idiot made you feel insulted doesn't mean you're helping anything by stooping to the same level and spewing hate. That whole "White people disabled us" excuse is way past getting old. Just because someone is white DOES NOT mean they have something to do with whatever sad condition you're dealing with. Blaming someone won't get anyone out of that condition, getting up and doing something positive will.

I think CNN did this not to give Black ppl a voice, but to promote more division amongst the races. To focus on this, instead of REALLY using intellectual ways of ridding racism. CNN unfortunately promotes the racism. Where I live I started a penpal program thruout my state where kids in a dom. white school write to kids in a dom. Blk/Latino school (and vice versa). It has made tremendous improvements battling racism as the area is plagued w/ racism.

On the same token, we as blacks cannot and should not ever depend on this government to lift us by the boot straps. It's been our legacy to do for ourselves what we need to be done. i'm iffy on it. i think CNN unintentionally promoted the racism through these series, but at the same time it's good Black ppl are being heard. But then, not many white ppl are watching CNN. They think "oh it's a show just for Black ppl." Anyway, I can only see it on youtube. I don't have cable.

CNN was mostly one sided in this issue. They could have talked about the success that blacks had made in this country instead of always looking at the negativity that goes on in our community! We as blacks know we have these problems and we do not need to be reminded of the problems in our community! What we should do is talk about solutions that can be made into the black community and not add more problems!

White ppl play a role, but to a certain degree Blk ppl hurt themselves as well. I'm white and wish Blk women would keep their hair natural, but yet they go out and straighten their hair. Now, that's due to European standards of beauty BUT in the end of the day it's a personal choice to get a relaxer.

I know. my mum is super white and my dad is lt. brown. i have like 6 diff. colors on me lol. ppl look at me and go "ooh gyaal it's summa, u tanned!" but no really sometimes in July my hands are pure white and then in Jan. they look lt. brown. I am Italian tho'. Btw white ppl are fun to tan w/ Believe me. Write your name on their back, let them tan, and your name stays for a week on they backs LOL

My opinion is, yes as a black person, I have suffered alot of racial criticism, and harsh cruelty, but the past is the past. White people struggle too. so do asians, and all races. We are all stereo typed. God created us equal made to glorify Him. all this fighting has to stop. we are living our lives in vain if all we focus on is the colours of our skin.

I wish race would become completely irrelevant and the more qualified person should get the college admittance or job acceptance based on their own merits, not the color of their skin.

A lot of your points are valid but i would like you to think about some things. It's alomost a fact that if a black commits a crime against a person of another racial group, that crime is rarely race driven. Secondly, even the governmnet knows that affirmative action is needed to level the playing field. It's not enough to just say.."ok, you guys have been free for so & so long, now you should be equal." That's not reality. Their has to government programs to level the playing fields.

I agree with this. I am white and most white parents I see SUCK as being parents. I was raised in 3 Blk communities, all of which were 88% -95% Black. All my Blk friends wud tell me that my mama (white) was just like a Black Mama. When it comes to white kids I see them curse at their parents, hit their parents. This is more so in the middle class than in poverty (I grew up poor). If I ever cursed at my mom I'd be DEAD!!

Anytime in the grocery aisle I hear a kid screaming her head off for candy, and the mom coaxing the kid I mutter "Kid sure aint Italian!" My friend says I stoke the fire (true) which gets me into fights at times (true) and the kid could be Italian (hmm true) but really any REAL Italian kid gets an ass whooping with a spoon and a shoe if they scream like that in public. lol

I watched the entire documentary "Black in America" and I think it was full of biases and manipulation in favor of the "black struggle".
I don't see how these sob stories can be used as an excuse or reason for peoples debauchery.
They even suggested "crack laws" are to blame for the vast majority of prisons being full of blacks.
Truth: Blacks are 50 times more likely to commit an interracial violent crime than whites
This documentary was lots of spin on many truths.

I am an 18 year old half white half black female..I grew up in a small town of all whites..they called me every name in the book ..ive been hearing nigger since the age of 4...now, i dont care if your rasist or not...but please have the heart to know that NO child should have to hear that. We have white in america...It's called America. The point is it's hard to exist as an individual when you are prejudged based on peoples assumptions of you based on your school skin color. If you don't know this feeling, then you are lucky, because I know it all too well. Though, I carry on with my life and continue to be successful, it doesn't mean that the pain is any less. If you've never experience it, then you'll never fully understand.
