there was a big shoot-out up the street at the other bar, early 90's. Was just there afew weeks before moose hunting. Hatfield & MaCoys type deal...crazy miners! I made a phone call from that lil booth at 1:48..... flew to river hunting. Lady at store said ice was piled up in lot after spring flood that wiped out Eagle. Almost lost store.
