Is it just me or do the recent amount of teammates I get suck? it's almost like COD players are switching over to BF and playing it like COD. Now I just can't feature that. BFBC2 Nam relies on teamwork; it's not all about running and gunning for yourself. You have to watch your buddies' backs and have them watch yours while defending positions in order for victory. it's called sacrifice. It gives it a realistic atmosphere. And that's why I play the game. I'm all about realism.

I've been studying the Cold war this year. I had to do my exam on Vietnam yesterday, comparing who was more to blame, Eisenhower or Kennedy. I defended Kennedy and blamed Eisenhower, but that was only because I wasn't allowed to mention any other President, otherwise I would have blamed everything on Truman, the idiot who got the U.S involved in Indochina in the first place. Either way, I really admire the VC, boy they just didn't give up, that's real bravery.

They told me they don't see any real difference between those "occupations", nor do they have any hard feelings about the war. The South Vietnamese "government" was hardly legitimate. Eisenhower said "we had a dictator [who] would get a hundred percent of the vote" and one who had no problem killing his own "people". Why would the ARVN fight the group that armed and funded it? Your thinking is very simplistic.

The Vietnam war is over, so stop talking about it! The Americans say they lost loads of Men, but they forgot that they killed alot more innocents! America never seems to get accused for war crimes, but the smaller Countries do. I wish America would mind its own buisiness, for example Iraq and Afghanistan. My Country was dragged into the Iraq and Afghanistan war because of America. Vietnam is looked on as the enemy, when really the enemy is the victim!

Could you provide something to back up your claim that other countries are more obsessed with Vietnam? A very quick search for films made about the war by country would contradict what you believe. @ElTiBo44 i had a conversation with a group of 10 0f my friends, mainly talking to one who was from Vietnam, about his home life there. Not once did the war come up in our conversation. To back up my claim, Just about every time i see Vietnam being discussed by somebody it will mainly be from those of other countries. for example this page that you are on currently. maybe im not pulling out numbers like films made, but i am describing what is in plain sight. Believe what you want though man.

Is it just me or do the recent amount of teammates I get suck? it's almost like COD players are switching over to BF and playing it like COD. Now I just can't feature that. BFBC2 Nam relies on teamwork; it's not all about running and gunning for yourself. You have to watch your buddies' backs and have them watch yours while defending positions in order for victory. it's called sacrifice. It gives it a realistic atmosphere. And that's why I play the game. I'm all about realism.

The real war was nothing like that, atleast as far as i know. More like the US bombing whit B-52's and vietnamese guys hiding under the ground popping up shooting everything they saw, and hide again..

I've been studying the Cold war this year. I had to do my exam on Vietnam yesterday, comparing who was more to blame, Eisenhower or Kennedy. I defended Kennedy and blamed Eisenhower, but that was only because I wasn't allowed to mention any other President, otherwise I would have blamed everything on Truman, the idiot who got the U.S involved in Indochina in the first place. Either way, I really admire the VC, boy they just didn't give up, that's real bravery.

@Lachausis Perhaps you should go to Vietnam and speak with those "people" you mention. They told me they don't see any real difference between those "occupations", nor do they have any hard feelings about the war. The South Vietnamese "government" was hardly legitimate. Eisenhower said "we had a dictator [who] would get a hundred percent of the vote" and one who had no problem killing his own "people". Why would the ARVN fight the group that armed and funded it? Your thinking is very simplistic.
