even though zeon had mobile suits first they were locked in a stalemate with the federation who didnt use mobile suits unti around november, just to prove that the federation can kick ass without mobile suits (though the federation needed mobile suits to take back space)

I really wish there was a version of this game in english,I have an import version, and it's confusing as hell trying to figure out what to do. Even so,the gameplay is pretty addicting,it's cool to play out the events of the UC in whatever way you want.

@Warsie They had to. They were at war with the Federal Forces who had military facilities (including the head at side 1) all through out sides 1,2 and 4 which were allied with Earth. The sides were countries except that there was no way to distinguish between military and civilian upon an offensive attack. The only way to stop the military that was infesting those sides still allied with earth was to take them out. And with Zeon's limited resources a surprise attack was the only option.

@Warsie If Iceland was controlled by a Union of all the other countries and diplomacy wasn't an option it too would have to handle the situation similar to Zeon. Strike fast and cripple the enemy quickly. Like trying to take Russia on land. You would have to resort to tactics similar to Zeon to win.

Presumably they meant to write UNT Spacy, which used to be the official name for the Earth Federation Space Force.

It was retconned at some point, presumably to prevent confusion with Macross

They don't give him back, Revil manages to escape with the help of Federation sympathizers.

The Zeon government don't actually hand him back.

It is also after his escaping of Zeon that he gives his famous "Zeon is exhausted" speech, which rallies the Federation to keep up the fighting.

@Gargantou No he was returned after the Antarctic treaty. Part of the treaty covered prisoners of war. That is why Kycilia reassures her aid at Aboaqu that he will be fine and will be sent back to side 3 during prisoner exchanges. They had to return the General of the entire army or openly break the treaty. After the failure of Operation British and the Battle of Loum Zeon needed to play it smart.

Well, I belive it has at least one innaccuracy (At least compared to other games) In one scene from operation british, it shows Shin Matsunagas MS-06R-1 in its white standards, but in Encounters in Space, at that point he's only using an slightly modified F-Type, with only a white head and spike shield
