Anyone notice that since Ultra Beatdown, their performances are kicka**? I was at one (in hype of excitement) And that the haters are still going over the same old videos that were from a time they were "questionable" live, and never grew up to the fact that they've gotten better at playing their stuff live...

yeah, i wasnt sure about turisas at first, i hadnt heard them before the gig so i listened to a few of their tracks before i went.

but after seeing them live it changed me to loving them lol.

I don't know where power metal would be without Dragonforce. Blind Guardian just seem to fade for me.

Yeah it was the best concert I'd been to and I've been to quite a few. I started near the back of the crowd and while Turisas played I was in the pits and getting eye candy. The second they finished I thought screw this like and launched my way right to the front to feast my eyes on sexy Sam and suck up to him. I looked at the crowd picture and I think I'm just beyond it, not sure, don't know what I look like from above.

Oh and lol @ the random black guy near the centre-left top. xD

Crowd surfing was horrid, there'd always be some mid-life lard ass passing over my head, one of them pretty much landed on my head, my head was forced down sharply, thought my neck was about to break lmao.

I've never been up on the academy's balcony but yeah, get downstairs next time much better.

Won't be going to any concerts/gigs now for ages, all the good acts have finished touring. My friends went to the Unholy Alliance at Cardiff; Slayer, Mastodon, Trivium and Amon Amarth were there. I didn't go because I don't like shouty music and all that lark very much.
