  • always nice foods Bhavna..

we were attempting something similar to this sauce but used fresh plumbs to make the sauce along w the ginger garlic soy chilli etc. [just omit the bottled pre made sauce] it was surprisingly nicer than expected so thought I'd share :)

  • @VonLeachim

    HI

Wow! Great...I will also try some day with all fresh ingredients...

  • @jasmine1445

  • @kyaseenhi

    Hi

Very glad to hear this now next one would be vegetable manchurian for you, I just posted video yesterday and you will sure like it.....that also comes out just like restaurant...

  • Hi Bhavna,

Do you have a batter recipe that I could use to replace this one in the video that does not use wheat flour? Maybe using besan? I love all your recipes and am a huge fan. You are so clever in the kitchen I'm hoping you will have a good substitute for me. :) Thanks!

  • @Nemodog

    HI

Sure. You can use only corn flour. To make it more cripsy, rice flour can be added as well...enjoy!

  • Thank you for such a wonderful recipe, it was also easy to follow. I used ready made batter mix & also made some mushroom manchurians... Both the cauliflower & mushroom ones came out awesome... Will be making this more often now as more easier than veg. manchurian and more crispier and tastier... Yummy...............

  • @india1947to1982

    HI

  • Hi

  • @balakrishnat123

    HI

    Very glad to hear this...enjoy!

  • hey whats the sauce that you mentioned in the last part of video.

    thank you for your response

  • @rajeevajha

    HI

I usally use plum sauce, sweet sour sauce in my indo chinese cooking.

  • Hi.. I've a query... I tried similar to make chilly paneer. I made marination of Baking Powder, All purpose flour and Cornflour. My query is when I marinate paneer pieces and fry, marinated cover gets ripped off while frying for about 40% paneer pieces. What wrong could I be doing?

Your post is quite good. thanks.

  • @enableDeepak

    HI

I usually don't do the same trick with paneer. With paneer, I marianate paneer with spices and just sprinkle flour on it(do not make batter)-no baking soda needed even. And do not deep fry just saute in oil marinated paneer and you will great crunchy, colorful paneer pieces...hope this helps...I am planning to share soon...

  • haiii..different kinda recipe of Manchurian...thanx ......we can make gobi pakora same!!

  • @Rhythm555beats

    Hi

Yes, Gobi pakoras are prepared same way. Since I added flavors to pakora as well, you can actually follow my same recipe but if you wish you can replace corn starch with corn flour or add besan.

  • lol 3G box... great recipe, thank you..!!

  • @vinosel1

    HI

    You most welcome...enjoy!

  • How much water do we add for the batter?

  • @t29017155

    Hi

Flours may take differnt amount of water so make thick batter but still when you pour it should be easy to pour kind of batter....hope this helps...

  • You have an Latin American accent though Indian..Very good recipes

  • @arulisms

    Hi

    Thanx and enjoy!

  • Sorry for my late reply because of my busy schedule. Plz note one point which i feel is logical when you do cooking just for your home all that matters is taste & hygiene but when you do it the restaurant way not just the taste but also the appearance matters. So if you want to make Gobi Manchurian restaurant style you should add chopped garlic which should be visible on it when you serve. Just having Gobi Manchurian in Hotel Taj palace in Dubai with scotch now. Cheers...!!!

  • @yogtantra1

    Hi

Sorry to say but I haven't seen in restaurant even that kind of garlic on top, I ate almost hundred restaurants now and all I see on top is Green onion-chopped fine and sprinkled on top. Hope you just don't get stuck on one thing only and move on....but it is really your preference, if you wish you can make this dish however you want....cheers!

  • @yogtantra1 Didn't know you could get alcohol in UAE lol

  • @lavahornet2 plz not you can get alcohol is UAE in most of important hotels &bar but to consume you need a license or you can hv it illegal. I follow the 2nd way. Welcome to join me but if you are caught u will be fined AED1000.

  • Those gobi's sounds sooo crispy! They make a lovely scratching sound. mmmh.

  • @maraskywalkeriii

    Hi

    Yes, they are...enjoy!

  • You're really cute. Mujhe aapki totli zubaan bahot achi lagti!

  • @OldaurGold

    Hi

    Thanx and enjoy!

  • thnx 4 diz recipe.....

  • @Jeddah7511

    Hi

    You most welcome...enjoy!

  • u might not like but when u present here u shd show the complete method. plz note Gobi manchurian is not complete without garlic chopped and added during preparation.

  • @yogtantra1

    Hi

I did add minced garlic and amount was good enough to bring garlicy flavor. Not sure why you did not notice. I also know very well that garlic is must for this recipe. Whether you add sliced garlic or minced garlic, flavor remains same....

  • were is the sliced garlic??

  • @yogtantra1

    HI

Not sure why you did not notice but I did add minced garlic in big amount, enough to get garlicy flavor. I added when I added minced ginger...

  • love the accent cute girl love it

  • @kalijizz

    Hi

    Thanx and enjoy!

  • whats up with the accent?

    no offence

  • @raghibma

I really don't know. Not sure what type of accent is right...

  • Behenji, today is sunday. So i thought I try this recipe. It was mind blowing! I used Maida and Rice Flour. I thought corn starch was to be used as thickening agent and not very suitable for battering. Thanks again

  • @ebaysingh09

    Hi

Yes, corn starch is used in batters as well to give little extra crunch...enjoy!

    Hi

    You most welcome anytime. Enjoy!

  • Dear Bhavana, could u pl tell me a method of cleaning cauliflowers. I usually put it in warm water along with salt, but then it gets partially cooked. Some others suggested me to put it in water along with turmeric . Which is the right way of cleaning it , pl explain.

  • @malukuttyy

    Hi

Great question! Here in the USA it comes clean packed so never thougt of it. But when I was in India, my mom used to soak in very cold water to keep it crispy and still would clean. Now after coming here, eventhough it comes packed, I still soak cut florets in cold water for at least 10-20mins or till I am ready to cook. And USA cauliflower doesn't have much taste like indian cauliflower so if you cook, it even taste bad, so I usually bake them in my toaster oven. Soon recipe c

    Hi

    Welcome back. Thanx and enjoy!

  • hi,,thanks for sharing this delicious resipy,,i will try soon,,

  • @sweeeetsania4445

    Hi

    Enjoy!

  • I made the recipe today, and since I did not have precise measures for the sauce I made my own measures as I went along, so every measurement is on paper, I have the perfect flavor. The only thing is the amount of corn starch in the sauce, I have to minimize it, it was just a bit starchy to the taste but tomorrow I will do it again. My husband thought I bought it, thanks for this delicious recipe!

  • @doowopshopgal

    Hi

Glad to hear. Yes, you have to be very careful when you use corn starch. If you don't cook even properly, it will taste raw starchy taste of it. For the measurement, you can always go to the website. I have already posted recipe for this delicious Gobi Manchurian. Enjoy!

  • Mouthwatering!! Thx for this recipe Bhavna.

  • @ilikethewok

    Hi

    You most welcome and enjoy!

  • @RocioEdithRJ

    Hi

Yes, it is very easy to make. So have a happy eating.

  • You can leave out corn syrup if you can't find. Without even corn syrup or starch, it taste great.

  • You shoudn't eat corn syrup tho - it's a highly chemical product and not a syrup at all as itÄs name suggests. It's a highly synthetic product. It's banned in most countries for safety reasons. Americans have it in all their sodas and sweets, because they don't want to import "expensive real sugar" as part of their "buy all American" policy, but I don't recommend using "corn syrup". Use corn real sugar & starch instead.

  • @intezam

    Hi

Try and share with us. Have a happy eating. Enjoy!

  • is it about 1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon each of ginger, garlic, and green chili. Which green chili are you using, jar, fresh how does it come in?

  • @doowopshopgal

    Hi

It really depend on you. You can adjust to your taste. I added about 1 tsp each for about 21/2 cups of cauliflower. Those pastes are my homemade pastes. I don't buy them ready. Enjoy!

  • Man this recipe sounds awesome, must try this for sure, thanks, so much, stay well
