I love this couple!! but I don't quite agree with other comments. I still think that Navka & Kostomarov did deserve the gold medals. the thing is that there were too many excellent skaters and only three medals.

When I was watching this competition on tv I cryed so much. And At the end of the Olympic games I was totally shocked of the results.Denkova and Staviski were so screwed up by the Russian team. I still have that pain in my heart, because they were the leaders.They had played the best ice skating but lost the medal only because they were playing for Bulgaria.That was a shame.They are the most powerful ice skating couple I've ever seen.

They certainly are fantastic. I love them and especially the programs they had that olympic season but the truth is that their skating in Turin wasn´t deserving of a medal. They had a very costly mistake in the OD and although their free dance was very good, you can´t ignore those two points of deduction. I would have them in 4th behind NavKos, DelScho and BelAgos.

The second to last lift was phenomenol!

They screwed up the dance spin somehow. I think it was only credited as Level 1 and it had deductions.

I might dessagree with you because ALL skaters made A LOT mistakes in all programs. Especially Russians. But anyway. It is already past and it won't matter what we say here.

I still think the Podium should have been DelSchoe, D&V, & DenSta (in any order). IMO, two of the greatest injustices in this sport in recent years are DenSta not being on the podium here and D&V being left off in 02.

This IMO, is a FD that deserved to go in the Olympic record books next to T&D's Bolero, K&P's Bach, and G&P's Memorial. Exquisite.

they're one of te most beautiful and lovely couple ever, I can't imagine that we won't see them anymore in competitions. The Dance competitions will lost a lot of magic without them.

Honestly, I don't really know how to distinct between excellent and supbar in Ice dancing, especially among top skaters.But it really puzzled me how they ended up off podium.

in our heart they are the champion it was their olympics look navka kostomarov they are good but they don't have the feeling of program denkova staviski they are like anissina peizerat they lived the program the judges 2 years ago in dortmund gaved the gold to navka kostomarov but denkova staviski was better and after 2 years in torino the judges did the same think gave again to russian team denkova staviski the best of the best

Goljama klasa! Nezabravimi! Oste ne moga da preglutna fakta, che togava gi lishiha ot medal... Te sa novatori i sled vsjaka nespravedlivost, sled vseki udar se izpravjaha i produlzhavaha napred... Otkude naistina subraha tolkova sila i zhelanie za pobeda? Mnogo gi obcham, dva puti sum gi gledala na zhivo (v Bulgaria i na svetovnoto 2004 v Dortmund) i tova sa bili edni ot nai-krasivite sportni migove, na koito sum bila svidetel. Blagodarja vi Albenka i Max. Pobeda i pak pobeda...

i like denkova and stavisky but the program lacked footwork in the serpentine sequence and they obviously had great lifts but deductions for taking too long on two lifts...and u have to remember that they messed up on their dance spin and other things in their original dance, but they did great but any mistake was costly and the ukranians did not do any and had more flexibility and footwork,

The problem did not lack footwork. It had better footwork (IMO) than the Ukrainians and they actually executed it speed and flow. They got very good marks for both their footwork sequences at Worlds later that year but they got ridiculously lowballed here. Even with those deductions for extended lifts, I would've had them first.
