  • Is it a bird, is it a plane NO it's MICHAEL JORDAN!!!!

  • 0:58 DID U SEE HOW FAR HE JUMPED FROM!? WTFF

  • TODAY PLAYERS ARE NOT DINAMIC LIKE THAT

  • Greatest player ever to play anything. No doubt about it.

  • this is when he was scary!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know how I didn't see this vid until today but quite honestly I'd never seen 2/3 of these dunks...I can't believe it lol. Thanks

  • Everytime I watch these type of videos of jordan, I always ask myself, "how the fuck are you gona stop any of these moves?"

  • woah this guy should have been a proffesional basketball player, he could have made a lot of money

  • Too bad there wasn't the technology to make beter records of mr. incredible

  • 1:18 is crazy =.="

  • @cannedkitty Jordan managed to win titles without a legit big man. Cartwright, Purdue, Longley, Wennington, etc. pail on comparison to the quality of Shaq and Pau. When Kobe didn't have a quality big man, he couldn't win a title. Jordan revolutionized the game, paving the way for Kobe. Granted if Jordan came after Kobe, the argument might be different, but to say Kobe was better than MJ is like saying Nirvana is better than the Beatles. It's just not true!

  • @cannedkitty Are you clowning like youtube page? MJ is far better than kobe. KB goes scoreless against the hornets and the "Lake show" looses. What are the FACTs favoring KB? none. none and none.

  • @cannedkitty wow, the irony in your comment is almost over-whelming. You obviously know nothing about basketball, but you also don't know how to research and you accuse other people of doing exactly what you have done. Otherwise, you would have known that MJ's stats are far better than Kobe's. So, yea dude, you don't know what you're talking about and just looking a bit clownish. Luckily, it's pretty anonymous online and not like you shit your pants on a bus or something. But still

  • @cannedkitty Wow, are you mentally challenged?

  • @cannedkitty lol

  • That move at 1:16 is to me MJ's sickest move.

  • mj the greatest ever.

  • who is machuel jondan? who is it? am i living under a rock? but he's not too bad i guess.. did he win smth in his career?

  • jordan in his prime would shit on kobe anyday

  • Jordan played like he was the only car using automatic when the league was still running manual.

  • @laepnud stupid comparison ))

  • NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCEEEEEEEE!!!!!

  • Oh yeah. Just SICK dunks! MJ is the G.O.A.T.

  • thanks for the post my man - rare to see unseen footage !

  • I appreciate the effort, but this is like watching stop-motion animation....

  • thank you for posting

  • wow, this is the second time i watch this video of the best athlete!

  • the last part... jordan blocked the shot? it isn't very clear.

  • awesome

  • 87-88 season was godlike.

  • Great mix bro! Lots of footage unknown

  • good mix but the video is too fast

  • thanks for this mix man!! i was so tired of seeing the same plays in every MJ mix!!

  • this jodan guy was't too bad

  • i got ur sarcasm dude......these people have no sense of humor.

  • what? this jordan is TOOO GOOD!!!

  • @curtcape

yeah, i don't know if he'll ever make it as a basketball player though... maybe a career in baseball...

  • @curtcape wanted to like your comment, but I did not want to mess up the "23" in likes :)

  • He was just amazing.

  • WOW-what a great video-nice rare dunks-too

  • Kobe who?

  • .11 are you kidding me

  • Nice rare footage but i cant say im impressed by the editing :P could you do another mix where theres more than 1 second of play before the highlight? (if you know what i mean:P)

  • the dunk at 21 seconds would have to be in his top 3 dunks ever ! It was a monster ! He took off way outside the key , and he thundered it down with a foul too ! MONSTER JAM !

  • ...HE'S A GANGSTA 4REEL

  • PAUSE AT 00:11 DAMN SON

  • I'm a BIG MJ fan, but this is SICK.. and rare indeed...

    *click...*add to favorites

    [out]

  • sick video

  • do u have any of these games?

  • at 1.01 absolutely sickkkkkkk

  • Sick video this was the season michael jordan became a household name.

  • 2:01 IMPOSSIBLE MOVE!!!!

  • i wished i lived in the 80s

  • there can neve be the next MJ. he was a gift from god to the game

  • he was a gift from god too da bulls! :)

  • 1:18 was SICK!

  • Booooooy!!! The nba n the 80's was the greatest era EVER!!!It was hardcore. That's y MJ is the greatest because he prevailed over all of the hardcoreness of the game. Those hard as fouls, handchecks, etc...It's soft as hell now. Put MJ from the 80's & 90's now...shit, hell averaged fuc'n 40 easily.

  • Jordan averaged 37 that 86-87 yr

  • great video...i expect some more

  • whoo, that was some stuff's

  • god mike...

  • michael jordan 35.0ppg 54%FG

    1987-1988

  • fuck!!!! I'M ASIAN. . . IM FILIPINO. . . BASKETBALL IS THE MOST POPULAR SPORT IN THE PHILIPPINES. . . AND I THEREFORE CONCLUDE THAT MICHAEL JORDAN IS THE BEST!!! KOBE IS NOTHING NEAR MICHAEL!!!! MICHAEL IS A BASKETBALL GOD!!!!. . . kobe??? he's just a demigod. . . . hehehehe

  • I like how someone yells "Help" at 1:14 then Jordan blows past everyone and dunks it in their faces. The defense was so mesmerized that they didn't even converge on him. So much for calling for "Help".

  • Sick jam at 1:01. That's one of my favorites. It's like he's sky-walking.

  • MJ is a freak of nature

  • i had only ever seen one of these. amazing.

    amazing. amazing.

  • amazing vid - I hadn't seen 90% of those highlights. Keep em coming.

Oh, and please stop with this MJ vs. Wilt convo, it's been goin on for too long and been beaten to death. In basketball you really can't compare players from different generations.

  • Wilt also averaged 48.5 minutes a game when he averaged 50...his average dips to 49.8ppg on a per minute basis...Jordan averages 44.5 ppg per 48 minutes when he averaged 37. All of a sudden, it doesn't seem like such a disparity now does it??

  • You're talking about a time when the talent level in the NBA wasn't even high. I think the three second rule wasn't even implemented during that time. So yeah it's pretty easy to score 50 points a game when your constantly shooting 2 feet from the basket. Jordan was scoring 37.1 ppg when the NBA talent was at a all time high, and was up against great teams like the Celtics, Pistons, and Lakers. There is a reason why no one hasn't scored 35 ppg since Jordan.

  • Kobe Bryant 35.4ppg

    05-06

  • In today's era where scoring is much much easier with all this european input who CANNOT play defense only offense. NO real big great centers anymore. NO handchecking. easy ZONE defense. still. Kobe couldn't drive & jacks up 3 pointers left & right. subtract 6 ppg if you wanna be realistic. Kobe scored more like 28.4ppg from '80s & '90s standards in '5-'06

  • You don't have to tear down Kobe just to lick MJ's asshole, mnkhan.

  • michael jordan 86-87 37ppg suck it dumbass

  • He travelled @ 1:03, I'm sure the officials didn't see it coz it's freakin' fast!

  • Accept my apologies for my statement. Take care.

  • See people my generation (Was born in 87')didn't really get to see this Jordan on a night in night out basis. We only saw late Jordan and compare that MJ with the Kobe & the Lebron's of today. So in my lifetime I'm a still say Kobe is the best player I have seen & LeBron is on his heels. But I'm handicap cause I didn't see the full MJ. He probably was the best, just not that I've seen

  • I really think MJ made a lot of traveling violations that was not called, but take a look at his move, it's very fast it's hard to judge a travel if you're the referee. Now with the benefit of these videos in slow motion, we can see those violations. In the video I saw one traveling violation.

  • kikiam, don't be stupid. Take any video clip of a point guard dribbling from the 80s, 90s, and this decade. Then put if in slow motion and you'll see it all looks like traveling. The ball hits the floor and comes back up at a different rate from the person's leg movement.

Don't be fucking stupid like the rest of the 3rd world Kobe fans.

  • You didn't get my point.

What I am saying is Jordan's move is very fast it's hard to see violations, if there are any. Did you see MJ's tap on Russel (Bulls vs. Jazz finals)? I bet you did, in slow motion but not during the live coverage.

Check out MJ's dunk over Ewing, when he drove to the baseline with two quick spin moves, he travelled there in his first step but it's hard to see it live.

And I don't like Kobe. MJ is still the greatest!

  • Jordan was a good as athelete. The best athlete the NBA has seen all around. quickness to go along with the bounce not hops but foreal ass bounce!!!! Some of the clips was real GOOD VIDEO

  • no doubt jordan was a spetacular player but from what i have seen in alot of his "great moves" he jumps, steps on the court with one or two legs when falling and then shoots and the judges dont blow anything. that is called traveling.

  • Oh please.. Enough with the BS travel talk.. He had hangtime like noone and the ball was always out of his hands before he touched the ground. Get a pair of eyeglasses will ya.

  • no fuckin way i slowed down some of his videos and he touches the ground before he throws the ball.

  • no fuckin way i slowed down some of his videos and he touches the ground before he throws the ball.

  • Lol oh yeah? what plays have you been slowing down genious?

  • top 10 amazing Michael Jordan is the clip here on you tube. in play number 8(against dallas) ,it can clearly be seen in slow motion, actually i saw it even witouth slow motin. and play number 4 where he steps with two legs on the floor and he still has the ball in one hand.

  • Dude that's entirely ur opinion, to me he does it legally a split second b4 he touches the ground. The refs think the same way too so quit trying to find faults on MJ, he's the greatest ever and there's nothing u can do about it.

  • the refs think that way too becouse nba from 90's and today is nothing more than a big show and they have to "not see" some illegal plays by superstars.

if almoust everyone on this world think MJ is the greatest that doesnt mean they are right. most of those people saw Jordan and said he is the greatest but never read nor watched vids about wilt chamberlain. sorry man,as oscar robertson said "the books dont lie". wilt was the greatest.

  • Sure same old excuse, "the refs were on Jordan's side", dude Jordan was a superstar and like any other he got some extra calls, happens to any superstar. But u'r really nit picking on that travelling issue. In his entire career those situations probably total 5% tops out of his entire plays.

Let me see if i got that right, so the rest of the world thinks MJ's the best but Oscar Robertson says "the books dont lie" and Wilt is automatically the greatest? Does that make sense to u?

  • i didnt say that every MJ play was traveling,MJ for me was 2nd best player ever and by saying the refs were on his side i meant for alot of those spectacular plays he had.if they werent so biased towards him alot of his moves wouldnt even exist.

Man,i know what i'm talking about,i have a few friends who never watched nor read anything about wilt and they say MJ was the best. most of those people who say that MJ was the best are just like those friends of mine, ignorant and clueless.

  • "if they werent so biased towards him alot of his moves wouldnt even exist."

U can say that about every superstar that has ever played the game. Keep in mind MJ was one of the most fundamentally sound players to ever play the game.

Wilt cant be named the greatest cause he simply aint got the total package, meaning he doesnt have the best combination of impact + dominance + achievments. MJ does. He dominated without Wilt's size and for a longer period of time.

  • for example, the most common thing i hear is that wilt could score 100 points becouse he played against all small players and that if he played today he couldnt, thats ignorance.

wilt scored 100 on 6'10 man and 72 on 6'11' nba 50 greatest players walt bellamy, those are not small players.

also why doesnt 7'6' yao ming scores on ben wallace 6'9' 100 points every night?

and dont forget that david robinson scored 70something in one game in 90's and he was nothing comparing to wilt.

  • Wilt played against great competition, u wont hear me say the contrary. I know better. But Wilt shot a lot which explains his scoring records. Nobody has shot the ball more than him. That 100 point game was premeditated, they kept passing him the ball and he kept shooting to reach that mark. If MJ was in the same situation i dont doubt for a minute he could get 100 too. Robinson's 70pt game was premeditated too. MJ's 69pt game was achived in the flow of the game.

  • yes wilt did shot alot but in the season in which he averaged 50 ppg he had 50%(FGA 39.5) from the field,MJ in one season had 37ppg with 48%(FGA 27.8) from the field.

My point is that if Jordan wanted he maybe could have 40FGA like wilt in one season but he wouldnt have even near 50% shooting from the field in entire season with all those shoots.thats why wilt was unique.

  • That's where ur wrong man. What about the '88 season where he shot a bit over 24 FGA and scored 35ppg at 53.5 FG%? At that rate given more shots MJ would easily reach the 50ppg mark with a FG% over 50. And woopdi freakin doo Wilt scored 50ppg at 50%, is that supposed to be some kind of achievement? The guy was a center! That's the minimum FG% he's supposed to average..Dont compare that to a 6'6 guard.

  • about that 100 point game, they did pass to him but wilt had over 50% field accurancy that night.when MJ had a good night(like against boston in 86') you think they didnt pass to him? they did but he just wasnt good enough to reach 100.

  • MJ was not good enough? Wilt shot 63FG and 32 FT in that 100pt game my friend. When MJ scored 69 he attempted only 37 FG and 23FT. Dont be pathetic do the math and check the difference

  • as for that MJ dominated more thats not thrue, when asked wilt dominated with scoring, later in career coaches told him to concentrace on defence and he led the league in rebounding till he retired and was in a first all defensive team a couple of times.

  • Sorry but Wilt didnt have MJ's killer instinct, he disappeared in the playoffs, MJ improved in the playoffs. MJ was clutch, Wilt..lets say in crunch time u wouldnt want the guy in the FT line.. MJ had no weaknesses.

  • as for acivements, from what i have read wilt have only two rings becouse of his arrogance that irritated his team players. russell has 11 rings and you can say russell was better then chamberlain, boston celtics were better then chamberlains teams just as boston celtics in 80's were better then jordans teams.

  • Yeah the Celtics had better teams but after '69 their dinasty was over. Wilt was with the Lakers and he still couldnt get more than 1 ring.. Im sorry but Wilt just didnt have the will MJ did.

  • the second dunk from the beginning over those two defenders was an unreal dunk.a fuckin demond out there he knew he could jump over anyone in his early days and if not hed float in the air longer than they would and make a crazy shot. he's the greatest pro athlete in team sports ever hands down.

  • this is was of the best clips ive seen on youtube. ive seen most of these before in all the jordan video's, but not from these angles in real time and live action with commentating. Nice work mate.

  • Thats great!!! I havent seen heaps of those!

wow they are rare, but yet spectacular..

    pitty about the quality..

  • holy shit that block at 1:25.. mj jumped before the ball is released... the last rejection is wtf!!!

  • vujacic>jordan

  • why do jordans have to disrespect kobe lebron wade etc.we all know they are not better than jordan, but they are great in there own right.and to the clowns that say lebron is not athletic give me a break he was also a top football prospect recruited by ohio st michigan and other in football.that being said JORDAN IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME NO DOUBT.

  • Agreed. I don't understand why one would need to put down other players in order to elevate the Greatest Player of All Time. MJ doesn't need that.

As for as LeBron goes, along with MJ he's as good of an athlete as this game has ever seen on the perimeter.

  • @montezdariel Fuck lebron lol

  • His move at 1:14 is one of the sickest moves ever

  • The block at the end was crazy!

  • dammm!

    great clips

    MJ GOAT

  • nice man..where did you find those clips?I've seen 'em for the first time..the must be very rare

  • I think MJ's leaner dunk is the best dunk ever.

  • thank you thank you thank you. nobody has hang time like air jordan

  • greatest athlete ever (if u look only sport abilities) !

  • ok fools... anybody with a brain knows that hoopsencyclopedia's "the artistry of michael jordan" will never be surpassed!!! this guy deserves an emmy a grammy and an oscar!...sorry but right now i'm smokin' big killa gettin' high wit a bitch nigga

  • i dont see kobe fan here??

  • kobe fan where are they??

  • jordan is the only jordan in basketball no one can replace or duplicate his moves...lebron cannot be a jordan....

  • ppl who didn't watch nba in 80-90s shouldn't say shit about aj and just stfu. especially for those who think kb>Jordan or LBJ>Jordan

  • Lebron is an incredible player. But comparing him to MJ is premature. I'm really more interested at how Lebron will manage to be dominant when he gets older at about the 33 - 35 yr old range.

  • some of the moves are so fast, the camera cant even keep up

  • these are not rare...any basketball fan woudl know these

  • The defense in this clip Sucks!

Every player in this video were slow.

  • basketball will never be the same...i fell sorry for the children.

  • Holy crap,so many unbelievable moves if i had to pick one that really really stands out i had to go with the one 1.18 into the clip,i don`t think i`ve ever seen anyone doing it before......

  • i had to go with d 1:30

  • This is for all who said that Kobe is better than MJ!!!

  • the best stat season for michael jordan was 88-89 when he posted 32.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 8.0apg. he had 17 triple doubles and 7 were in a row after those games he was 3 rebounds shy for 8 in a row then he did 3 in a row. in the playoffs that year he averaged 34.8ppg, 7.0rpg, and 7.6apg in 17 games. if that is not the shit what is

  • don't you think 87-88 is the best stat season? i mean- regular season mvp, defensive player of the year, most steals and blocks, all-star game mvp, slam dunk title, scoring title. i don't know the averages though, but still.

  • that season was good but the 88-89 was better

  • ur an idiot josette5, u dont know shit abuot jordan..go back to watching kobe vids

  • u r the fucking idiot how many players were able to record that stat line averiging over 30 8 and 8. that's right noone and in the 88-89 season they made it to the ECF and they did not loose in the Semis

  • its not all about the numbers you dumb idiot, jordan won more awards in 87-88..you wouldn't know shit cuz you obviously haven't watched jordan play in thoses two seasons, ur justa stupid bandwagoner

  • u don't know shit u waste of sperm yo momma should have swallowed yo dumb ass

  • haha stupid retard, u know im right so you make up an insult, lmao ur a fucking douchebag

  • in the 88-89 season they made it to the ECF and they did not loose in the Semis like in 87-88

  • the second dunk on this video is probly one of the filthiest MJ dunks ever!!!

  • 1:11-1:12...

  • awesome vid

  • this gotta be one of the best vids out there. dude is a straight beast man

  • Good god at the block at the end of the vid. I could watch MJ hightlights all god damn day. He was a wonder to behold. How anybody could compare somebody like Kobe Bryant, who I think is a heck of a player by the way, to Michael is mind-boggling.

  • great vid

  • man oh man

  • omg 80's mj is the best b-ball player no one will ever be as good as him

  • The main thing between jordan and lebron's era is the fact the defence was more intense up until some point in the 90s. you can feel the intensity in those old games highlights. I dunno, it's from your own perspective. my main point is that lebron has alot to do to be better than jordan.

  • I'm not sure many people really think he's better than MJ, maybe that he has the potential to be or something. At this point MJ was better at every facet of the game, especially defense.

  • lebron will never be better than mj. lebron, if under the same rules that jordan was under, would barely score 20 a game.

  • Show the playoff series where MJ shot 20% and barely averaged 20 a game. Even when he had shitty teammates and was playing vastly superior teams, MJ ALWAYS dominated.

The difference between MJ and LeBron is, above all else, pure skill and knowledge. How on Earth does a 6'9" 265lbs athlete not have a post game? Their athleticism might be a push, LeBron's stronger, MJ quicker, but there is NO comparisson in what actually matters.

  • I disagree with their athletic ability being a push. Jordan was a far superior athlete than Lebron or anyone else who ever played in the NBA! MJ was an athletic FREAK! Jordan could come at you at all angles. Jordan was the most graceful/beautiful player to ever watch. Lebron just pounds the dribble, and simply does his best Shaq impersonation > putting his head down and driving his shoulder into the defender. Lebron's more Magic Johnson. Not a great athlete and poor defender.Magic >Lebron

  • I guess that depends on how you're quantifying athletic ability. I sort of interpret Jordan's infinite number of moves as more a result of his skill. If you just look at how fast they run, how high they jump, and how strong they are, MJ is quicker and faster, but LeBron is stronger, that's why I called it a push. Not really worth arguing about, I agree with you completely.

  • No no it isn't a push. Pound for pound MJ is better I think.

  • Well, if you say pound for pound you're discounting LeBron's strength advantage which would, obviously, make my point moot. I don't think you need to worry about that. MJ was quicker, more explosive, and definitely more graceful. i don't think you can argue sanely, however, that LeBron isn't among the top five most physically gifted athletes in NBA history. LeBron falls because he has a horse-shit mind and attitude. He's easily fooled and has a simple game. Still no post or mid-range.

  • couldn't agree more, lebron was purely size rather than tricks. also lacks creativity and even a terrible jump shooter. Kobe is the (closest to) jordan today.

  • i agree, lebron lacks a lot a lot of creativity.

  • lebron doesn't lacks of creativity...he is the best SF passer of the NBA right now...he averaged 7 assists this year...

  • yes, he's a good passer, but really, in creativity he's not yet that refined

  • how is lebron not not good in creativity?

  • there's a lot of discussion if you say creativity. but one particular aspect is his dunking.

  • lebron is not a great athlete? you're stupid as shyt.

  • most people think lebron is better because they always see him all the time. look at these rare footage of MJ, i haven't even seen most of these. but with lebron you see all the time, and people go "man this guy's better than MJ!" but those people haven't seen ALL of the young MJ. e.g. most people know lebron averaged 20 per game in his rookie but how many knows MJ averaged 28 in his first season? stuff like that.

  • You mean like how Kobe hasn't won a championship since Shaq left? Lebron losing in the finals? Carmelo and AI doing nothing in the playoffs? Steve Nash also goes no where in the playoffs, Nowitzki chocks, KG and the Timberwolves? And I haven't even started talking about the NBA's JV league (Eastern Conference).

You know what's hilarious about your noob ass? Is the best team this decade (Spurs) aren't even as athletic as these guys and they're the ones dominating.

  • Laughable is what you are buddy. Jordan played against a bunch of the TOP 50 NBA PLAYERS IN HISTORY. You can have your "athletic freaks," but none of them could hold Jordan's jock strap. Jordan played against great TEAMS (Larry Bird and the Celtics, Magic and the Lakers, Bad Boy pistons, the Jazz led by one of the best point guards in History, etc etc), not just 1 "superstar," as that word is so easily handed out nowadays.

  • OMG see the block at the end where is the whole video for that, i wonder what the crowd reaction would be. Amazing

  • the best basketball player ever. In my opinion:

    Jordan > Bryant > Drexler > Wade > McGrady > Lebron James

Nobody will be like Mike, we always will the best

  • holy shit at 1:18 I think that's a new one I've never seen

  • yea me too and I though I had seen it all. Wow

  • NBA today is so gay. A Bunch of tatoo faggots got no fucking skills. It's not the same like it's used to be. Shame Shame fucking Shame!!!!

  • It doesn't matter how athletic you are. If you don't know how to use your athleticism then you're nothing. So many idiots today think that there the number of athletes in the NBA means that it automatically is a tougher league. But most athletic persons in the league can't do squat with their athleticism.

  • MJ simply has no equal, the grace he brought to the game was so refreshing. Damn he even made those short shorts look good! Remember this season one 1st half the Lakers had i dont remember against who now, the whole team was wearin throwback jerseys and short shorts, lol KB looked ridiculous.

  • did he blow by mo cheeks on 1:10? man.

  • one word INCREDIBLE

  • This is why Jordan was so great. These are some great highlights from just a few games. He lit up the highlight reels back in the day...Shit, i like watching his jumpers.

  • that's where michael's double clutch comes in. still laughable?
