what style you wanna do... i bought a freestyle bike (Haro F4) and i like it.. i was street/park and the bike was the best for that style. now i'm flatland, still on my F4 and it is very nice bike too, but no free coastet, and you'll may need it for flat. otherwise, you wanna do flatland, search on the internet, or ask the people in the shop. Never buy a bike on the internet, cause you can't test it. that's my advice.

learn on a bike that weighs more than a block of lead. its gonna be hard but then when yu get a ligh bike wich can be REALLY expensive. riding will be so much easier. ALWAYS GET YOUR STUFF FROM DANSCOMP. learn everything about the bike. bottom bracket type, hub type, headset type, and take the bike and lube the chain and make sure everything works right once a week. go with white lightning. i would go to walmart and but a mongoose. its cheap and a great bike to learn on. and they are CHEAP!!!!!

bro start with a mongoose. the rims are not plastic on all of them. i havemt seen one with plastic rims. start with a heavy mongoose. wen you do get a lighter bike it will be really easy to do stuff. get a mirraco for next level. GREAT BIKES. get the mirraco moto. or get an eastern, subrosa or we the people. all of those are awesome bikes
