  • It's weird. When I first saw this on the billboards I always thought that it was a drama/action and wasn't really interested and then I find out that it's not at all what I thought. It looks pretty good. Think I'm going to watch it.

  • although this movie might have a good message (the disease) at best this is a made for TV movie. Honestly just painful to watch, don't waste your time on this. It could have been ok but it was just predictable, and very very cliche'

  • This was a good movie. More evidence of why the U.S. leads the world in new treatments, medicines and overall best quality of medicine. this is not new.

    Our delivery system is fouled up and mostly because of Unionization and uncontrolled Administrative costs and expenditures.

    Eliminate that, and delivery improves to everyone. But whatever you do? Socialize the U.S. Health System and drugs like this DISAPPEAR because they simply don't get discovered in countries with Social Medicine.

  • funny movie title -- looks a lot more heartwarming and family-friendly than that other film with that way-similar title of "Desperate Measures", starring Andy Garcia as the dad-whose-kid-is-gonna-die... and Michael Keaton as the guy who can stop that from happening. But quite a different film ;)

  • It literally brought me to tears to see how the Crowleys have suffered through the onset of the disorder with two of their younger children. To me, it is like an unexpected curse to afflict something so terrible while leaving one healthy older child. More research is needed to understand this rare genetic disorder. The Crowleys are incredible people who feel that they can do more for their seriously ill children like finding a treatment to help reverse this deadly degeneration.

  • ohhh could it be because he is playing a 40 year old white collar- business man??? He has to look the part which is whatever that happens to be in the script. He was hot in Mummy 3 last year but normal looking people/fathers don't look like buff action heroes.
