Listen to Berganza's Alcina!!! That's wonderful, not this pale, out of tune (Oh my God the high G!!!!!) interpretation (?). A poor, shabby, weak voice; pitiful coloratura. Horrible cadenza. Horrible horrible horrible. Poor Handel. This "singer" is neither the pale shadow of Cusanino (read Burney's reports)

yes, that's the question what's happened.. I couldn't believe also.. there was no communication between the ensemble and the singer... it wasn't easy. I was a little bit disappointed, expected something more from the great concert koeln, to be honest.

I was also disappointed and sad - Philippe deserves to get it much more better, he works so generous and sensitive with the orchestra while the rehearsals.....I´m very sorry about the German musici.

I was in Katowice and listened to his concert...I only can tell you that everybody was a little confusedduring this passage :)
