  • not perfect; but i oddly like it :) good work.

  • Hey i´m jealous you play it awesome, Can you pass me the sheet music?

  • Very good but I might suggest a bolder attack in the fortes. Fearless bang.

  • Are you using full score sheet music, one piano, or two piano's.

  • Well done! I have done the same using a midi version of piano:2 as comp. Check out the webb. You can also find/buy a "music minus one" version, only playing orchestra at slow tempo.

  • Do your sheets only contain the piano, or is it full with other parts?

  • A bit slow but great, you got the hang of it

But i have to say, playing this masterpiece on a digital piano is a crime

  • This just isn't good at all. learn pieces you can actually play, you're just butchering a classic.

  • @mcbainst

Worry not, I'm sure he feels truly inspired by the words of a nay-sayer :)

  • @odinnshred I certainly hope so :)

  • Sounds very interesting without orchestra evolved... Makes me hear some tunes that are not so obvious if orchestra is playing along... Very good.

  • you need a grand piano, boy...

  • lololololololololololololol

  • It sounds like jazz music in the way you play it. Nevertheless it's a good effort!

  • Wow although it's not as fast paced as the ones out there I can see that you've put a lot of effort and time into the Rach3 Congratulations

  • this is the best movement of the concerto - flawless!

  • Congratulations I loved your performances of Rachmaninov, good technique and interpretation

  • The sound from that piece of shit is terrible... Buy a real piano. This wasn't very impressive too. Hardly worth posting on youtube =/

  • Yeah, 'cos youtube is reserved only for the creme de la creme of videos. It certainly isn't a site for people to upload content to as they please.

  • Well said my friend, as far as I'm concerned, anyone who even attempts a piece by the rach deserves 5 stars. I think it's people people start taking the sticks from their arses.

  • 3586 views only, shame!

    change the title,

    you are amazing

    i love rach 3

  • i would like to know which edition do you use in this video, i mean, the book that is on your piano, which edition is?? is it an arrangement por 2 pianos? or an orchestral score?

you are an amazing pianist, the only thing that its missing its an orchestra :P

    congratulations!!!

  • hallo dergeige

are you german? bist du deutscher?

check out "music minus one", sheets and cd with and without orchestra!

das konzert auf cd mit und ohne orchester und mit noten für klavier - super!!

  • You are very good. This (obviously) is probably if not thee... one of the top ten hardest pieces to play. Well done :-). I just uploaded two versions of solfeggietto as well. Check it out. It's not good quality cuz of my computers mic.

  • Good job! especially to control the tempo, I always tend to play the easyer parts faster (or the more difficult slower..). I'm eager to hear your ossia cadenza (part 1) and the vivace part from page 74 (I have the B&H edition too). And actually the whole concerto of course :) good luck, you'll need it with this mount everest of piano concertos...

  • thanks :D haha iv stopped practicing this. iv gone on to play other pieces, but maybe someday I'll come back to it.

  • You should really get yourself a decent piano.

  • Excellent! You really offer a fresh take into the intricacies in the music. Obviously you need time to get it up to tempo, but it's really cool actually hearing EVERY note instead of a blur or bang from recordings.

  • lol good, but why dont you play the solo part at begin of 3rd mov. lol:)

  • it requires massive hand stretches in the left hand. a tenth or eleventh if i remember correctly

  • @harryg94 You could just do chord cutting. you know when you only play the parts of a chord you can reach.

  • What kind of piano is that?

  • digital.

  • 10 OR 11?? really?!

  • Excellent Job! My second favorite, but only 2nd to Martha Argerich's performance :)

It's such an incredible piece of music. I have the sheet music collecting dust in my closet. The first time I looked at it, it looked like someone just spilt blank ink all over the place, haha. So many notes, so fast, so insane. Keep up the great work!!!

  • ehehehe good that u remmber all those notes

im playing the second concerto now. but it dont have the same Noooooooooooooooooooottttttttttttttttesssssssssssssssssssssssssss

    sooooo Maaaaaaaaaaaaaany eheheh

    good luck man

  • yeah wheres the sheet music?

  • 5 stars!!!! that's amazing!!! You have the last part but what about the cadenza of the 1st movement? Plase play that cadenza and upload here!! Greetings from Mexico

  • I was learning the Ossia Cadenza about 6 months ago. I got halfway through it but I couldn't memorize past that point, so I just gave up. Sorry lol :)

  • Congratulations! thats a lot of work!! and hard work! well done...!

  • Thanks. It certainly was! It's taken me months to get where I am.

  • XD you're awesome. You're THE PIANIST.

  • ah... thx m8

  • Eh i downloaded it from the link u sent me but i cant open the file cuz its pdf... do u know what i need to have to be able to open a pdf file?
