  • Nice to see the nice equipment, and it's paired up nicely with your music selection, but this would be a much better vid if you at least put up a description of what each picture is, and even some of the highlights and why they're special.... Model number, year made, manufacturer, and one or two significant features would be the minimum I'd put up for each frame. And how come no pictures of the receiver lit up???

  • what a nice cat putting up with those marantz speakers,i bet he really loves looking at the sx 1980.

  • delicious

  • So this Joe McBride, he's a painter too?

  • That cat has a severe case of "eye pie".

  • nice chilling song to.

  • The audio equipment of the 1970's was far better styled than today's gear, same thing can be said about most everything from cars to architecture to you name it. Why does everything made these days have to be so ugly ???

    good condition,want to sell it.

  • @SMERGHEED My show is 100% LIVE... Not filmed in my Moms place like you sir. I got lost in making the video cohesive with the music. Something you know absolutely nothing about. The needle of one deck (that was not playing at the time) ran out of needle space and hit the label. I took it off and readjusted to the situation.. It is LIVE got that LIVE.. Make a mistake and the world will see it....Later buddy

  • @DJJeffCLive Hey Jeff, I removed all that schmorgassHeed whatshisname's assinine comments. He had better knock it off.

To SMERGHEED-You had better knock off your insulting and verbal insults. I didn't appreciate your comment saying none of my gear pictured is any good. My gear is very highly regarded and appreciated by many people. You are a minority if you think my stuff is no good. You were waaaay out of line, sir. So either shape up or ship out. One more and I will have you banned.

  • @ChuckTruck78 Thank you

  • @ChuckTruck78 your stuff is shit..lol! insulting me is like a bull to a red rag. do not listen to djjeffclive aka regulatorjc and his mate psycholdelicvideos they are follwing me around the net insulting me thats why this prick is on your page.just click on his name and you will see his comments, also he is a psychology student and he is manipulating your mind to fight his war, he dosnt care about you,he just wants to get one over on me.....the best thing to do is block both of us

  • @ChuckTruck78 talk to retokampfsocke and he will tell you what djjeffclive aka reglatorjc is up to as he tryed to get us to argue but he sussed what he was up to...I can send you more proof of his shit stirring and following me around if you like..its all over the net and your the 10th person he has tried to manipulte to hate on me......block both of us it will stop your page getting filled up with his crap..... just use the bin to get rid of our comments

  • @SMERGHEED

Hm, you can do something about the low end. Hornloading it. And no, it is not a pa speaker. it is a series of special hifi fullrange drivers, designed for horn-loading...

You can go off axis, but you lose some treble. but thats okay, its the same with two way systems. eiter have a tweeter with a low xover frequency which means it has trouble with really high frequencys, or it has a high xover f. making the tmt create a beam like a fullrange driver.

  • @SMERGHEED

Maybe it just remains a question of taste =)

I am not saying the saba's are the ultimate speaker, just the best one i heard so far.

  • @RoteKampfSocke SMERGHEED loves to think he knows everything but in reality has no technical knowledge what-so ever. He trolls around you tube being a pompous jerk.

  • @DJJeffCLive

yeah, i am still waiting on some "smashing" arguments =D

  • @SMERGHEED

It depends on the actual driver. A single sound source with perfect phase (since there is no crossover) mixed with high sensivity, a terribly powerful AlNiCo Magnet System and total motor and membrane weight in the area of a few grams! ...

Maybe you already heard about the "Saba Greencone"-Speakers. These drivers were hand-made in the 1950ies.

But yeah, you are tied down in the sweetspot, otherwise you loose a lot of treble and the sound becomes dull.

  • This is in response to the last post. Not everyone can afford ns-10's and his collection is impressive even if it's not good equipment IN YOUR OPINION. In my opinion that gear rocks! And kudos to the owner for preserving pieces of audio history

  • @monzaman1980

Actually NS-10's sound very unpleasant. You would start crying if you had a look at the frequency response... Huge raise at 1,8Khz, several bad resonances at 3, 4 and 15 khz...

Actually old audio equipment is worth preserving in this digital age, and there are many old speakers, that sound great!

  • NICE! vintage is the BEST!!!

I own a lot of sansui vintage speakers. I just love vintage speakers :D

  • Awesome 5/5!
