i went to P.I.T. with this drummer ..Cliff Almond .... he was really young but he could play his ass off ... everyone would always come to big band class to watch Cliff play ... Cliff would be burning , sometimes I would look over at the instructor , Steve Houghton .. Steve would be watching Cliff and just smiling and shaking his head ... Steve was thinking the same thing we were all thinking ... jesus god , this kid can play the drums .
