I loved this film! Randy Newman, animators and the directors did an amazing job! It's good to have hand-drawn animation back. I think it is better than 3D and CGI. I love Disney animation films. I hope we will see other amzing animation films from Disney in the following years.

As stated in the video: "IF THERE'S A STUDIO IN THE WORLD THAT SHOULD STILL BE DOING HAND-DRAWNED ANIMATION, IT SHOULD BE THE 'WALT DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIO.......THE STUDIO THAT STARTED IT ALL" - John Lassater. What happened to "Rapunzel"... or the "Tangled" (its new title)???? 3d is for Disney-Pixar. 2d is for Walt Disney Animation Studios.

2D IS Disney! Nothing will EVER change that!The magic is in this form not 3D.I have nothing against 3D, but it saddens me GREATLY when tons of those films get made but a cinematic 2D hasnt been done in YEARS!!Far too long has my beloved Disney been taken away from me!Ive never been so happy to sit in a cinema &watch a Disney film since LM,BATB,Pocahontas,Aladdin, Mulan etc till this movie.I was so excited&was NOT let down!Loved it!Heres to 2D, may it forever burn bright! 2D is the way to GO!!

Exactly what everyone said here, 3-D is great, but nothing will EVER surpass Disney's hand-drawn. It has a hell of a lot more personality that CG.

Its depressing how badly this did at the box office...Unfortunately I think this may spell doom for 2d all over again, if something that was this well reviewed did so poorly. Meanwhile the chipmunks movie is raking in the dough...I guess people just associate a satisfying experience with 3D now because of Pixar. Maybe if Disney keeps telling good stories like Prss. and the Frog the 2D Disney brand will recover. I also think the setting and subject where problematic marketing wise unfortunately.

The movie did great in threatres, could had done better if Alvin and the Chipmunks wasn't showing the same time. If Disney made a Legends of Zelda animated movie that would get everyone's attention

Good old-fashioned hand-drawn animation is what first inspired me to draw, and I've been drawing ever since. I just got more and more sad as 3-D animation took over (amazing as it is, i was still sad). I mourned for all those children who wouldn't be inspired in the same way anymore. (2-D is SO much more easy to re-create, especially for children) But now, thanks to PatF, my dream has been re-realized, and i AM going to become a Disney animator! I hope to inspire others as I was. Wish me luck!!

The last hand-drawn Disney animated movie was Home on the Range, 5 years again. However, with the number of people involved in this one, I think this is more memorable.

I also agree with them on hand-drawn animation. I love it! I prefer it to live action and computer animation.

I love 2D. Even though some people want computer-generated, technically perfect stuff, I think most of us disagree. We don't want "perfect graphics". We want MAGIC. There's a kind of warmth you can only feel when you're looking at something *drawn* by a real person.

I am SO glad that disney has realized that they need to go back to classic hand drawn disney. There has been a drought of GOOD disney movies. All of these classics have been replaced by junk like Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. LAME. Welcome back CLASSIC disney.
