  • Sikker på at det ikke er LBS/Ft (pund-fot) som det måles i? de fleste benker som viser hk går etter det amerikanske systemet...

    normalt sett så vises effekten i kW på benker som oppgir Nm...

    og hvis den har rundt 700Lbs/Ft så vil det blir rundt ~900+Nm som virker mere logisk.

    og selv om det er volvo så behøver ikke momentet å være mere en hk...da kammene bestemmer mye av dette...og de har jo laget kammene selv som det står på hjemme siden deres...

  • Spelar ingen roll så länge du ligger högt upp i varv där effekten ligger, och med en något preppas automatlåda så är de skitsamma om det är "lagg" eller inte, han drog aldrig husvagnar med bilen och behövde ingen effekt under 5000rpm

  • wrong that engine was one of the old B21/B23 Volvo 4-cylinders. They can take a lot of beating and still remain in one piece. They last forever and can be extensively modified.

  • LoL, the B21/B23 are redblocks. This is a whiteblock and is says Dynotest B5234T.

    B = Bensin motor (Gasoline Engine),

    5 = 5 Cylinders, 23 = 2,3 Liters/2300cc,

    4 = 4 Valves per cylinder, T = Turbo. This engine is from the Volvo 850R.

  • As I mentioned before, I´d say I know a lot about cars. Definately much more than you do.

  • It´s easy to manipulate a dyno. You can easily make it show the numbers you want to see. I´m quite confident that this engine isn´t even close to four digit power. Just a lot of noice.

  • I can tell you that the numbers are real. The owner and builders of this engine is very serious builders and very succsesfull dragracingdrivers. Why wouldn't the numbers be correct? Just check worldwideweb|dot|teamxracing|d­ot|se and choose "bilder" in the rightside meny and then choose "Tottes 152" and you can see pictures of the engine and se all work they done in the engine. And that turbo isn't small.
