  • I seen this in theater when Terminator 2 first came out, when i seen the DVD version i didn't know why they left it out.I guess filmmakers like to show different version cut's in selected theaters to get an audience reaction.

  • 5:49 how the hell do you miss that!? really??

  • Such an important scene that never made it to the final 1991 cut!! But one of, if not, the most important scene in the movie to believably portray a machine depicting human characteristics. T2 turned a fictional, bad guy cyborg from the future, into a realistic humane machine sent to protect mankind!!! Possible??? Who know's. totally original and please Hollywood never remake the JC original!

  • man arnold has a bigger chest than that women there lol

  • its the terminator's brain aka "the chip"

is smaller than us humans which is why they rarely say please

  • ThIs scene would have made the movie much, much, better. I mean, it explains the whole "learning emotions and love" thing reasonably believable and scientific, instead of the bad, overdone "intelligence develops emotion because it is intelligent". 2001: a space oddysey was one of the few movies that did this believably, for instance.

  • 1:03 john looks directly at the camera

  • It must be incredible for sarah connor to be able to put of a terminator that easily after what she suffered from the first movie

  • bet i cood beat him in a staring contest

  • Chocolate!!

  • lol when he says "Can you learn stuff, you know? That you haven't been programed with," sounds very sexually explicit.

  • I know I came from Cracked, no need to say that, ok?

  • @Eduardogd2 But you did, so why?

  • @csmybuttt Just because every video from youtube on cracked have a comment saying "Thumbs up if you came from Cracked *derp*".

  • sweet

  • I think T1000 starts to malfunction due to its cryogenic (tanker).

have a question for fans: If John Connors murder, what are the orders for the T1000 ?

Destruction or elimination of other people?

    And the t800?

  • @Lemaure44 In the commentary they say it can only take a certain amount of damage, and it got really fucked up when it got frozen and shattered

  • I've seen this movie a tonne of times, on dvd, video and tv and they all had this scene. I'm in the UK, maybe it's a different cut for us.

  • best thing in T2: Edward Furlongs voice breakdowns. ;P

  • It the copy that I have, this scene is ot removed from it.

  • T-2 is maybe my 2 or 3 favorite film of all time and ive seen it maybe 20 x's and this is the first time seeing these deleted scenes and i am very glad that they took them out of the finished product because they suck and would have ruined the overall film a bit.

  • wait a minute in my terminator cd the scenes were shown. do you mean the movie?

  • okay, wasn't this done before the resistance sent him back?

  • i didnt know these were deleted scenes,, ive never seen this movie without them

  • @DeathMetalRegulator same wasnt til i watched it again on the tv a couple of years a realised the hammer bit wasnt in and i was soo sure i hadnt imagned it.

  • @DeathMetalRegulator Yeah, me too.

  • And why was this cut?

  • @ArcticFoxKit

It took up too much production time.

  • AMD PROCESSOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Somebody got the number for tech support?

  • I M...THE TERMINATOR 2 :|

  • That's odd. Why was the T-1000 glitching like that? I can see why they might have cut it out of the film, since they would have had to explain that. Still, I'm curious.

  • @AkuTenshiiZero cause he was frozen than melted, what else

  • @AkuTenshiiZero Because he was covered in liquid Nitrogen several minutes before the scene.(When the Truck tank broke in two)

  • Every time someone asks me what kind of computer I have, I reply with, "My CPU is neuronet processor, a learning computer."

  • @AyKay4ty7ven You sound like you have lots of friends.

  • @csmybuttt I do... On Facebook lol... But no really fuck you.

  • @AyKay4ty7ven Perhaps you shouldn't make "jokes" that aren't funny to begin with, and would be pretty fucking weird if actually said in person, dipshit.

  • TEH CELL......O_O

  • jajaja

  • 4:30 loooooooooooool

  • ah 1991! so awesome!

  • nooo 5:00 hulk father hahaha

  • John should've said,"Look, Mom, if I'm ever supposed to be this great military leader, maybe you start listening to MY leadership ideas once in a while. Because if my own mother won't, how do you expect anyone else to? Including...my FATHER?"

  • @pytko3 and finish whit: and remember that it was my future self that send it.

  • @juliox9 Yeah, he should've also said,"My future self, that great military leader was the one who sent it here. Do you really a great military leader would do that if there was any risk of something going wrong?"

  • I imagine that the future resistance would have probably reset the switch before they sent him back?

I'm not saying this is a mistake, but probably more probable.

  • @empreme I think the resistance would want to keep him read only, like a zombie that just follows his programming, not taking a chance of him becoming self aware like skynet did and maybe killing John.

  • @FROZENCH0SIN Good point!

  • Comment removed

  • 3:36 he's like "bitch! I'm not paying for this haircut!"...damn he boots up HELLA fast! he must have a 40G data connection. Obviously not with t-mobile...

  • Hahaham OMG his smile xD

  • These scenes are in the directors cut.

  • all these scenes were showed in the comic book. nice to know that they actually exists.

  • Why the fuk did they deleted all this? :O

  • @QuickSixx James Cameron said in the dvd commentary it was cut for time. I still don't agree, cut something else because this scene is way too good and also I always wanted to see how the chip stored inside of the terminators head

  • 1:01 DO IT FAGGOT

  • the cpu looked like a chocolate bar lol

  • haha the mirror shown in the scene is actually a window in which sarah's sister is replicating her moves with the real arnold with just the skin open.the dummy is used on front / top-view side to show cpu nonsense of the terminator....

clever very clever with no scientific effects involved.

  • cameron u moron put these scenes back and re-release the movie!!

  • @talkpremjit i got the quadrilogy set and the dvd of T2 has these scenes in the film making it 2 and a half hours long

  • typos: T-1000 and "has better"

  • Huh? This was in the video version I saw back in 1992...

  • @mrkeogh These scenes are mostly similar to the ones in the theatrical release, but they have differences:

    - First scene: First few seconds are the same, but the discussion of "read-only mode" and smashing the chip are the deleted scene

    - Burger stand: the smiling part is deleted

    - T1000 in the steel mill: Getting stuck on the rail and feet welded into the grating are deleted. These were sort of "glitches" with a damaged T-100 but they decided not to go with that angle

  • @mrkeogh If you watch the special edition they have commentary explaining the rationale for these scenes. There's also many more deleted scenes (T-100 killing the dog, sarah/kyle dream sequence, some boring stuff with Dyson and his wife, etc) and if you stream this movie on Netflix it's the director's cut with many of these in place

Personally I grew attached to the theatrical version, seeing dozens of times as a kid (heh...). I think it was better pacing and "feel" to it, but I'm biased...

  • 2:53 oh shit

  • Comment removed

  • im pretty sure these aren't deleted scenes...

  • @EpiTone900 it is, this was never shown in the cinema or tv

  • @Gouki6669 yeah maybe. i get confused cos i have a version of terminator 2 that i have watched so many times i cant count. i guess it just has all or most of these scenes in it so im used to seeing them. i need to watch an original edit of it. i like the deleted scenes though, wouldn't be as good without them.

  • 4:37

    LOLOL

    PEDOPHILE ROBOT

  • you missed out one of the best scenes where sarah has a dream where kyle warns her john is in danger

  • That scene where the chip was removed was completely done with zero special effects. Linda Hamilton has a twin who played the reverse of the mirror. It's great when special effects are done without computers and simply with a trick of the eye.

  • @danimalfurry ...what? why would they need her twin to make a mirror if there wer no special effects? a mirror works...like a mirror.

  • Comment removed

  • It was because of the way the camera pans from left to right in the scene, it points straight at the mirror, if they were shooting a real mirror you would be able to see the camera and the camera man. It was a pretty brilliant way of shooting the scene if you ask me. one side of the mirror is Arnold and Linda hamilton and the other is her twin sister and an arnold doll.

  • I am a gross whore for saying this, but even though he was only like 13 here, Eddie Furlong was still SO hot. I remember watching this movie obsessively when I was in 6th grade, just to ogle him. I guess it's ok since I'm younger than him in real life, lol...

  • at 1.06 john connor looks at the camera

  • @milbytrillion no he doesn't

  • @milbytrillion same on the motercycle chase.. after t1000 crashes the truck

  • Comment removed

  • @milbytrillion You sun of a beach! You're fast. Hahaha!

  • Damn, I don't know how you picked up on that XD

  • @milbytrillion hahaha lol it must be hard not to look at it xD

  • Great scenes, I wonder why they were left out.

  • I have never understood why Skynet programmed their Terminators to speak with Austrian accents.

  • @Phendraana youtubeDOTcom/watch?v=kayFrIR-Qfw&feature=related

  • @Phendraana this is why

  • @Phendraana it's a bug! xD

  • @linkuei83 Actually I did some digging & found out why! There's a deleted scene from T3 that shows the army guys modeling the T-101 after a physically fit soldier(played by Arnie & voiced by a guy with a hilarious redneck accent). The main army guy says that he likes the design but not the voice, and another officer turns to him & says "We can fix that" in an Austrian accent. Presumably, this officer provided the voice tracks for the Terminator, and voila- mystery solved.

  • @Phendraana lol you're 100% right, and the glass eye costume i think has arnies voice also. Nice digging there m8. Made my day!

  • @linkuei83 I kinda wish they'd left that part in. It would have put a LOT of questions to rest & added some much-needed humor to the movie too.

  • @Phendraana Skynet could be an Austrophile.

  • @Phendraana watch DELELTED SCENES for terminator salvation and you will have your answer my friend

  • @7cci my bad, its terminator 3, "sargeant candy" (typo there but play with it) and you will see a funny scene explaining why terminators look like arnold and where the accent came from

  • what was the point of reseting the cpu?? i dont get it

  • @achilles212 They were changing his memory from read-only to read/write so that he could learn new things. Read-only memory can't be altered, while read/write memory can. Kinda like how you can add new programs & whatnot to your computer- you couldn't do that with a read-only disk.

  • @Phendraana thank a lot for the info =)

  • The last scenes with the T-1000 glitching should've been left in IMO. I remember the first time I saw it, after the hasta la vista nitrogen freeze smashing when he just melts back together and is FINE again, thinking... pfff, this guy is too invincible. I don't think it hurts the drama showing him weakening, I think it's more involving. It's like when Rocky cuts Drago... you think, YES, this is possible! He could win! Come on Rocky!!! If Drago was perfect until the last moment... pfff, whatever.

  • @greyztone That's what I was thinking. Not to mention he always was quick on his feet (car chase scene) and I wondered why he couldn't catch them with an injured Sarah on their shoulders. "Now I know why....."

  • @reddyreddknova Exactly :)

  • ULTIMATE SMILING!

  • Wonder if they inserted the T1's CPU... hmmm

  • instead of saying hasta la vista, he should've smiled

  • WAT THE FCK WHY THESE DIRECTORS CUT SO MUCH 20 YEAR S HAS BEEN GONE BUT NOW I M SEING THESE CLIP FRM YOUTUBE IN INDIA N THIS FILM IS ONE OF MY BEST FILM

  • fuck you mom. i want a sega genesis, not super nintendo.

  • he looks like bruce lee a lil bit when he smiles...don't u think?

  • can some one send this video to michael bay

    movie editing 101

  • @oscarivan16 While I agree with the sentiment about bay, these scenes were actually quite good and are subsequently in most TV edits for good reason. They explain why he smiles when he has the minigun, why he finds the key to the swat truck etc... It's still a tight film with these small additions.

  • It's like the A-Team.......in an unknown garage with power tools...powered up and ready to go!!

  • Arnold was so young here, how old is he in the movie? I forgot.

  • @joelopeztube me is 63 years old.

  • @isbri89 he was 44 in this movie.

  • @joelopeztube He was between 41 and 43 when T2 was filmed

  • @losermonster thats what I thought too, around that age. someone in their 40s is not an old age these days. Thanks.

  • @joelopeztube he was born in 1947, so in 1991 he was 44

  • @joelopeztube He's 43-44 in T2, and in Terminator was 36-37 years old... Arnold looks very young indeed...

  • The effects in that first scene are unbelievably clever, but the beauty is that you don't even notice them. Notice how in the same shot, the T-1000 is talking in the mirror, and then the camera moves and Sarah Connor is poking around deep inside his skull. Nowadays it would be piss easy to do that with CGI, but the 1991 solution is much more elegant and innovative - it's not really a mirror, it's Linda Hamilton's twin sister copying her movements while Linda operates on a model of Arnie's head!

  • Linda's sister also plays the real Sarah at the end of this clip, while Linda plays the T-1000. For the close-up, it's Linda again.

  • The Terminator looks funny when he smiles

  • In The xtreme Dvd They put all the deleted scenes in the movie

  • Last scene is fucking awesome!!

  • Movie producers need to save time, that's why theses scenes were cut. The scene Sarah turns the terminator off and tries to destroy it is cool, but too long. Besides, it already proved to be loyal at the sanatorium. But the scene T-1000 has defects, after the ice scene, that shouldn't have been cut in my opinion. BUT THE SCENE I'LL NEVER FORGIVE THEM FOR CUTTING IS SARAH'S DREAM WITH KYLE. It had only 2 minutes and was so emotional, Kyle (and Michael Biehn) deserved that honor.

  • Imagine putting the CPU of the 1984 terminator into this one. When he reactivates...

::::Scanning Location.....2 carbon life-forms in vicinity, identify....MAIN TARGET SARAH CONNOR/ JOHN CONNOR::::Resuming Mission ELIMINATE TARGET:::::

  • Yeah, the T-1000 glitchin' out!!

  • i see why they got rid of it, the gore but it still is rated R

    explains alot tough

  • In the version i watched.. it had these scenes

  • wow, those are deleted scenes ? that's the only version I ever saw (and I'm guessing the best)

  • @fredericg54

I'm not sure of the exact title, but there are two versions of T2: the "Theatrical Cut," and the...I'm not sure, I wanna say it's either the "Special Edition Cut" or the "Director's Cut." In that version, these scenes were put back in. That version is only on home video, though. The version that was shown in theaters didn't have these scenes.

  • @TheShockMaster director's cut ;), I also remember having seen this BBC version once, where they toned down all the graphic violence, e.g. the scene where the T-1000 harpoons that security guard's eye in the mental institute, actually goes on for a few seconds... lol at the BCC

  • @fredericg54

That also wouldn't surprise me. It's very common for deleted scenes to be put back into movies for TV airing. The idea is that since the TV version has to cut certain scenes that are not appropriate for television (swearing, violence, what have you), the time needs to be made up somehow...and a common solution is to put deleted scenes back in. That''s where the term "TV cut" comes form.

  • So MOOOOUVE.

  • Smiles LOL

  • They shouldn't have deleted this scene! lol

  • me encanta esta escena es una de mis peliculas favoritas por excelencia xd

  • I never knew this was a deleted scene. I only ever watched this film when it was on TV, and this part was always in it.

  • Now if only Arnold could go back in time 10 years and terminate his maid...

  • @TheGunpowderTreason Gives a whole new meaning to 'terminating' a pregnancy.

  • HUGE plot hole. When she took off the cover for the CPU there wasn't a void warranty sticker....

  • @storms0831

Your joke failed because he was created by Skynet in the future, not intended to be used by humans.

  • @Zanmatt2g thinking too hard about the joke much?

  • @intelligentape84

Actually it only took a few seconds to think and right that comment.

  • That;s what they thought processors would look like in 2011. PFFF

  • ahh i got it, in the last scene the lava begin to melt the t1000, i understand now xD

  • when it shows them looking in the mirror, there's actually 3 people in the "mirror". that mirror is actually a window

  • Hmmm...my version has these scenes in it...how are they 'deleted'?

  • @jmr1068204 Cos you have the dvd dumbass, these were deleted in the theatrical version

  • LOL... when he tries to smile, it's so funny. Haha.

  • I hated the scene when the Dog gets killed, too me, when a dog gets killed, it is more sad and depressing when a human being dies, us Humans have cause so many wars and destruction, ruined economy's throughout history, meanwhile what have Dogs done? Dogs to me, are like innocent children no matter how much they age

  • @nobodysperfect06 Dogs have killed people, tore of faces of babies, etc etc... Savage and unpredictable beasts. Not all of them, but hey... not all of us humans are bad apples either.

  • @nobodysperfect06 we're all animals, dogs or humans both are destructive blood thisty races to some extent. i do however value the lives of innocent children and non-trying to kill you animals more than those of human adults. call me a sick fuck or whatever but i lost faith in most people in general long ago. for every one decent human being theres ten assholes who'd stab you in the back and take everything you have if they had the chance. im going to enjoy youtube now...

  • @ferretlord2177

You have caused me to regain my faith in Humanity...thanks! lulz chill brother, Monsters aren't born they're created. and it's up to us to try to save more from becoming monsters. Save someone today

  • 15 core wow!

  • this proves that Jimmy Cameron is a studio whore. "Make 'em buy the "Directors Cut" we can get 'em to pay $20 extra!" Jim Cameron is an asshole.

  • @SomeGuyinWY who the hell calls him "Jimmy Cameron?"

  • What makes it obvious that that's not a mirror is the way the image doesn't move like a normal mirror would when the camera changes position

  • Haha, Linda Connor's twin sister (also in the nuclear bomb scene at the park with baby John).

  • You're missing some deleted scenes, but still a good vid.

  • the way the first scene was filmed is complex as hell

  • 4:36 Never is the terminator scarier than this shot right here. Thumbs up?

  • Really liked the scenes with the T-1000 malfunctions.

  • It's at 1:38 where you realise that it's a window :-).

  • i never see this scene :)

  • It's good thing they removed this scene because the acting is atrocious.

  • 0:58 NOT A MIRROR!
