Great video, does anyone know how much of Cane Hill is left? I know they started demolishing in 2008, but I know part of the complex is grade II listed?
ye ive been in there my mates have been in the tower i only went were the nerses use to live but still was scary gota be carful they have got full time police/ scurtiy on it
cane hill aint in dorking you nutters its in coulsdon, hey people check out the ghost on cane hill roof on youtube i used to go up this place when i was a kid and i never used to believe in dat shit till i went up there lol
I live in cousldon myself and can see Cane hill from my window lol, i remember the day they filled in that hole with cement bcause i was watching :).
but yea its a scary place, i used to go up there alot with my friends at night playing hide and seek lol, im guessing some people commenting went to woodcote aswell ?.
As a matter of fact we owe you urbex folk quite alot, since the expolits of many have been pubished on the web, giving us floorplans and photo's which helped us plan our swift in and out night excursion. I understand that security on the site was stepped up significantly after the shoot, and now i am still unsure whether it has been demolished yet, to mke way for affordable housing. such a shame.
Yeah, from what I hear that it's still there but they've totally locked the place down. Our old secret entrance was filled in with cement (we dug under the fence under a bush in the most obscure place).
I dont know why they have locked it down so much. we just unbolted 2 of the verticles in the fence, by the mortuary (which is eerie) but then we had to get all the equipment in there to. When we left we just bolted it back up again.
my couson made one a little while ago and some wierd man was in there and chased them i was checking to see if it was on here. its so sad inside its in a terible state
Great to see other people's experiences of Cane Hill. We made a film there last year if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3XTWVcEkII
used to spend many a sat nite up cane hill, and have some good and bad memories of the place, very good video, thought u put it all together really well, have really gotta go back there before the place is bought down, well done.
I've been to Cane Hill, and with it being such a stunning looking place it may have been nice to have a teeny weeny bit more location footage, but thats just being picky, it was a very well cut and inventive video.
Thank you for your lovely comments. It is stunning, and all the footage in the video was shot on location, however the interior stuff was shot between 3am and 6am, and then a swift exit from the building was needed, as security patrols were coming round. I dont want to say that we broke in, more like slipped through a gap in the fence. My only regret is that we didn't get a chance to visit the chapel which i have heard is beautiful.
Wow, I figured the majority of your video would have been shot in an unrelated safe location. I wouldn't much fancy taking that risk, but my hat goes off to you guys for going that extra step.

Very unique and a lot of talent, better than many so call professional videos in the Top 40 today. Youtube doesn't do you justice though.
