Carrie had acid thrown in her face ealier that year; it was meant for Austin but she saw his attacker before he did and blocked him. And, at the time of this video she had just attempted to have corrective surgery for the scarring on her face the acid throw had left; the first surgery (which took place right before this funeral) untlimately turned out unsuccessful but the second later that summer was and the scarring was completely removed.
Thanks for clarifying that for me. I think I started watching Days during this storyline, but after Carly was buried alive. I remember watching Vivian talk to Carly on some electronic device.
Uggg, when I first watched then back in the day, the good in me wanted Carly to be saved and for someone to realize she wasn't dead at the funeral, and then the bad side was pulling for Vivian cause I loved the plot so much, that she wouldn't make it and go to the grave as planned..
No kidding! Besides Bo who, as you know, didn't know about it, the only person who actually had a valid excuse was Lucas (incompetent cab driver, he said) and yet he still got there before the service had actually begun! LOL
wow..i didn't watch during this s/l...
was she really buried alive?
if so, how did she get away?

Yes, Lexie was still a cop. It was the following fall that she would lose her job because of her involvement with Jonah being the Pacifier.

Seriously, is it that hard to show up to a funeral on time? Jennifer barely got there in time to do her reading.
