I don't want it cute I want it cool? why is it since after FFVII all has to be either dark and depressing or armed with swords bigger than the one holding it? the whole emo thing has gone too long. if something, it is games like FFVII that is childish, don't get me wrong, love it but must it be standard for jrpg's to star a guy going around feeling sorry for himself in black-grey environments of metal and dirt? what's so wrong with colorfull happy-go-lucky stuff like back on the 16-bit era?

Can anyone tell me how long this game is? Im finally on the second cd after like 20 hours of gameplay. lvl 30 ! Alot of of cinematics , I enjoyed watching them. What I disliked about the game is i only unlocked 2 achievments after all this time.

P.s. this game get's better, and the magic does have different effects and look. It's a game that is extremly long that's all. You like turn based games , you'll enjoy this game.

@frostxr - I am surprised it had taken you so long. I have around 20 hours and I am already on disc 3. Disc 2 was quite short.

@frostxr ive finished the storyline but have also gone back and done the dragon side quest and the other world boss / achievement stuff. ive got over 120hours on one play through. bear in mind that i did take my time haha :D

I agree, this game game is OK at best. It has some nice features but in the end it's just so boring. Good review.
