I think it's hilarious that he doesn't like hippies. If you watch his video Melodic Control there is a part in there where he talks about how to follow the chord. He says if you just stick strictly to arppeggiating that it will sound like hippie music then he said 'which is fine if you like hippie music...' but if you want something different you should break out and try something else haha.
My dinky looks and sounds so similar to that white one hes using in the video 6:09. Same ssh config. Awesome... Single coil pups are so awesome for clean sounds. So glassy.

60's guitarists were weak and didn't inspire people to "go start a band"? I disagree greatly. I mean Hendrix, Iommi, and Page all came from that era and influenced heavy metal. This guy's a good guitar player but I've never heard anything come from him that I wanted to listen to over Hendrix or Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin.

Lucky for Marty he was right, Heavy Metal has come back with so much energy, and it is battling pop.....of all things (I can understand people thinking that metal is battling rap, but really, rap had pretty much screwed itself when rappers started taking melodies from other songs)
