Thank you so much for posting this!!! For so many years I have missed playing this game. I absolutely loved it in the '90s (playing for days on end, only stopping to eat and sleep). I was so upset when I couldn't play it anymore on a newer computer (Mac). But here it is! I hope you've posted the entire game. The music, the graphics... I love and miss everything about it and I never thought I'd see it again!

Ah this game used to scare the living **** out of me when i was younger, remember me and my mate on sleepovers playing this, can't remember a lot of the game though so thanks for the play though it's interesting to watch. It feels eeery just watching the videos, the sounds are incredibly immersive, modern games don't create that level of psycological fear anymore :(

This was an AWESOME game! My Dad and I used to play this game together, solving problems and saying "Uh-oh, there's an Ixupi here!" When I saw Windlenot's ghost, I had trouble sleeping for a few weeks. Great acting in this game!

Never played this game (I was only 7 at the time and my English was abysmal), but I remember reading a review. The only bad point was the lack of animation.

Might try to track down a copy someday. Unfortunately, I was too young for Sierra. I was more with Microids back in the days.

I like this style of point and click, more than Phantasmagoria, or other point and clicks because you don't have the awkward stage between standing there, clicking something, activating a cut scene, and then watching the actor go back into "standing there" mode. The whole process was just so dull and drawn out.

Sierra was my company as a kid. Loved their games.

i had this game and the farthest i ever got was to the library or somethin. it felt good to finally watch the full game. great job and unlike other ppl that do walkthroughs, i like how u didnt do any commentary (voice). although i DID like how u made the message boxes and the flashbacks. i look forward in watchin the rest of ur walkthrough for this game. great job dude!!!!

I also watched my dad playing it when I was young, and I usually ran away when ixupis appeared 0_o, now I've finished it 3 times (twice w/ a complete solution -_-) and I think that this game is just one of the greatest point'n click ever!

Firstely for 1995 it was just a revolution, the story was really well done and very well staged, and overall scary sounds and musics, a magical game...

N.B. I've never played this game after 6.00 PM :-S

I ran it on XP without a problem. If it doesn't on Vista, try to change the compatibility to run under Windows 95, reduce the resolution and set at 256 colors. Then try running it again.

@ruudje1976 i use xp dont use vista get rid off it man its so bad i cant play most of my games on it and some arelike 5 frames per sec XD also the games awesome had the demo on diablo hellfire and was like wow looks pretty ok i torrented it tho sorry sierra i bought enough out of you anyway

Im managing to run this on vista right now. when your installing it, do everything and test it, but dont test the cd-rom bit. carry on installing and it should be fine. was pretty straightforward :)

You're welcome. This game runs fine under XP, so it shouldn't be a problem. You may want to reduce the resolution settings though and set it at 256 colors in the properties.

I never did finish this game. It took my dad 3 months to finish it due to the difficult puzzles. It's a great game though.
