Honestly I never once believed that Michael is dead. If he was I would have felt it from the very beginning. First of all, I never saw his "dead body" in the casket during the memorial. Also that casket at his memorial was wayyyyyyyyyyyy too small. Michael is between 5'9" and 5'11" tall. There is no way he would have been able to fit into such a small casket. I seriously believe that Michael is still alive. My gut feeling will not let me believe that he is dead.

In order to allow for the hands to be expressive, they would have to appear to move from time to time, hence changing the hands. As in, there would have to be several replicas of Dave's hands in different positions, to give the appearance of moving in order to talk with his hands.some one was handing them to Michael under the table.
