Hi, I have a question about the S-20... When you're recording in external audio, can you then press the hold/loop key to make it stop recording but continue to play back?
And also, most importantly, when a sample or some sample loops are playing, can you then record a new sample to a another bank without the playback stopping?

You use this with the 2000 XL ? Are you sampling directly on the S 20 or through some samplers like S 950 or so .. ?

ah!! that was my 1st sampler, but had to sell it about 13 yrs ago to pay some bills, now i'm looking at getting another dirt cheap on the ebay.
